ঢাকা: বাংলাদেশ ও ভারতের ঐতিহ্য ও সংগ্রামের ইতিহাস প্রায় একই। দু’দেশের মানুষের সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক মেলবন্ধনও চমৎকার। এই বন্ধন, বিশ্বাস, ভ্রাতৃত্ব আরও সুদৃঢ় করতে আচার-কৃষ্টি ও সংস্কৃতির আদান-প্রদানে ২০১২ সালে ভারতের তৎকালীন রাষ্ট্রপতি প্রণব মুখার্জির ইচ্ছায় শুরু হয় ‘বাংলাদেশ ইয়ুথ ডেলিগেশন টু ইন্ডিয়া’। এর আওতায় প্রতিবছর বাংলাদেশ থেকে বিভিন্ন অঙ্গনের ১০০ জন তরুণ-তরুণীকে ভারত সফরে নিয়ে যায় ঢাকায় দেশটির হাইকমিশন। ভারতের যুব ও ক্রীড়া মন্ত্রণালয়ের আয়োজনে এবারও যাচ্ছেন এমন শতযুবা।
শিগগির ট্যুরের ফ্ল্যাগিং অফ অনুষ্ঠান হবে। এরপরই নয়াদিল্লির উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করবেন ‘বাংলাদেশ ইয়ুথ ডেলিগেশন টু ইন্ডিয়া’র সপ্তম ব্যাচের ডেলিগেটরা। বরাবরের মতোই দীর্ঘ বাছাই প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে শত শত তরুণ-তরুণীর মধ্য থেকে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন একশ জন। এদের মধ্যে যেমন রয়েছেন সংস্কৃতিকর্মী ও সাহিত্যিক, তেমনি আছেন চিকিৎসক, প্রকৌশলী, উদ্যোক্তা; আছেন খেলোয়াড়, ক্রীড়াবিদ, সাংবাদিক এবং শিক্ষার্থীও।
বলা হচ্ছে, ভারতের জনগোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি যুবশ্রেণী। বাংলাদেশ থেকে যারা ভারতে যাচ্ছেন, তারাও যুবশ্রেণীর। বিভিন্ন অঙ্গনের এই তরুণ-তরুণীরাই আগামীতে নেতৃত্ব দেবেন বাংলাদেশকে।
বিগত সফরগুলোতে ভারতের রাষ্ট্রপতির সাক্ষাৎ পেয়েছিল ডেলিগেটস টিম। শেষবার প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর পাশাপাশি পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী সুষমা স্বরাজের সঙ্গেও সাক্ষাৎ করেছিলেন ডেলিগেটরা। এবারও তেমন সুযোগ থাকতে পারে বলে জানা যায়।
সফরকারীরা দিল্লি-আগ্রার বিভিন্ন ঐতিহাসিক স্থাপনা, তরুণ প্রজন্মের উৎসাহদায়ী প্রতিষ্ঠান, প্রযুক্তির উৎকর্ষ ঘুরে দেখার সুযোগ পাবেন। থাকতে পারে অন্য যে কোনো একটি রাজ্যে ঘোরার সুযোগ। এর আগে দিল্লির পাশাপাশি মহারাষ্ট্র, গুজরাট, রাজস্থান, পশ্চিমবঙ্গসহ বিভিন্ন রাজ্য ঘোরার সুযোগ পেয়েছে ডেলিগেটস টিম। ঘোরার পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশের সংস্কৃতিকে সেখানকার মানুষের মাঝে তুলে ধরারও সুযোগ পাবেন ডেলিগেটরা।
সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তারা বলছেন, ২০১২ সাল থেকে শুরু হওয়ার পর এটিকে কেবলই সফর হিসেবে দেখছে না ভারত সরকার। আসলে এর মাধ্যমে ভারত প্রতিবছর ১০০ জন যুব বাংলাদেশিকে বন্ধু হিসেবে পাচ্ছে। এবার সপ্তম ব্যাচের ১০০ জন মিলিয়ে যেন ৭০০ যুব বাংলাদেশি বন্ধু হিসেবে পেলো ভারত। এরা কেউ সাংস্কৃতিক অঙ্গনে, কেউ সাহিত্যাঙ্গনে, কেউ ক্রীড়াঙ্গনে, কেউ বিভিন্ন পেশায়, কেউবা সাংবাদিকতায় প্রতিনিধিত্বশীল ভূমিকায় রয়েছেন। এরা তাদের স্ব-স্ব আচার-সংস্কৃতি বিনিময় করবেন ভারতে, আবার ভারতবর্ষে যা দেখার সুযোগ পেলেন, যা ধারণ করতে পারলেন, তা এসে বাংলাদেশে পৌঁছে দিলেন। এই বিনিময়টা বাংলাদেশ- ভারত মৈত্রীকে নিয়ে যাবে আরও অনন্য উচ্চতায়।
কর্মকর্তারা আরও বলছেন, সফরটা কেবল দুই দেশের মধ্যকার সামাজিক-সাংস্কৃতিক বিনিময়ের নয়, এতে অংশগ্রহণকারী একজন ডেলিগেট তারই দেশের বিভিন্ন অঙ্গনের প্রতিনিধিত্বশীল ভূমিকার আরও ৯৯ জনের সঙ্গে পরিচিত হতে পারবেন, তাদের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ এবং বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ সম্পর্ক তৈরি হবে। তাদের এই বোঝাপড়া, মিথষ্ক্রিয়া সমাজ গঠনে রাখতে পারে দারুণ ভূমিকা।
শতযুবার বহুল কাঙ্ক্ষিত এ সফরের ‘ফ্ল্যাগিং অফ’ অনুষ্ঠানের বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত শিগগির জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে বলে জানিয়েছে বিশ্বস্ত সূত্র।
