Reads more like a plea to support Morsi because he was a 'good pious Muslim'. Particularly malicious as it insinuates that opposing him and the ideas he associated himself with means your own faith and beliefs should be questioned.

Presidential speeches have never been aired during prayer time, Presidential portraits were replaced with religious symbolism during SCAF rule and have not made a return, Presidency always had humanitarian commitments, many a president declined a wage with Nasser famously kicking the bucket with fifty pounds to his name (Elsisi has also forgone his wage), intelligence is not limited to an academic background, many an Egyptian has memorised the Qur'an and a great deal more are pious. Each and every point from this article is either inaccurate, unsubstantiated, or completely made up.

Nothing in the article is essential for a statesman or politician and none of those stopped Morsi from being an utter failure.
