Hmm, is there a reliable source for all of these figures??

My goodness...I never knew wars in China were so brutal. Sucks that we never learn about these events...history channel is nothing but reality shows nowadays :tsk::tsk:. Did the Hue rebellion happen during the Confucius movement??

Wikipedia has Taiping death toll at 20 million.

Exaggerations. Ancient era did not have reliable census numbers. Please stop posting garbage.

@WebMaster @Chak Bamu @Horus

Those figures are utter nonsense... and totally out of proportion, the world population in 1860 was way below 1.5 billion! . And of course not a single source.

Just imagine if China will exert all its effort to enemy countries, China will definitely rule this world.
