I have never seen any Bangladeshi that looks Somali but who knows there maybe one or two here and there. However, I have seen a few Bangladeshis that look sort of Yemeni (although Yemenis themselves vary in looks).
I've always thought many Pakistani Punjabis looked different to their Indian counterpart but some also similar. I detect Afghan and Persian like admixture in some Punjabi Pakistanis. Personally I can tell a Pakistani Punjabi from an Indian Punjabi more often than not.
I agree. Many of us do look different while others not so much.
But to white people, South Asians and Middle Easterners generally look similar. I don't think they can distinguish the people easily, although some Middle Easterners to them probably look European. Just a few months ago a group of...
Carlos Quieroz and Tony Meo can almost pass as Bangladeshis. Interesting they both sort of have an Iranid look. A few of those guys I showed yesterday of Bangladeshis on another site people thought they were from Central Asia/Eastern European region. The thing is there is a lot of misconception...
I have seen some Hyderabadi Muslims from South India that look to have some Turkic or Afghan elements to them. And given Hyderabad was for quite longtime one of the areas of Mughal settlements, it should not really come as a surprise.
This Middle Easterner also looks very Bangladeshi to me at first glance.
Bangladesh did have significant settlement of Turks, Afghans and Iranians during the Muslim rule of South Asia. They have all mixed into the genepool.
It's not always straightforward to explain these things. But I find these two Mediterenean guys would pass better in Bangladesh than the Kashmiris pictured in the bottom two images, even though Kashmir is a lot closer.
It's not straightforward as that. Indo-Aryans did come through the...
Not saying that. There were two Caucasoid groups that came into the Subcontinent, in both cases through the Northwest. The first is what we call Rig Vedic Aryans (Indo-Aryans) and they settled mostly along the Eastern Gangetic Plains because the land there was much more fertile than the Western...
On another site some people thought a few of the guys I posted in the first post were sort of Chechen looking or from approximately that region of the world. I didn't tell them where they from of course.
I am not claiming Arab blood as that would be illogical. Arabs never really appeared in...
Many Arabs I've seen tend to sort of look like this. There doesn't appear to be a lot of Aryan influence on him and yet he probably looks closer to Europeans than South Asians do. It's very complex and difficult to explain.
Take the world by storm? lol. I have Sky and I am ashamed to say I decided to watch an episode to see what this nonsense was about because they were advertising the hell out of it on Sky One since it was on a sister channel. The show is the most boring crap you can imagine. Interestingly, there...
