What are the similarities/differences of Bengali peoples in Bangladesh vs India

We Bangladeshi Muslims look different to Indian Bengali Hindus (and Muslims). Some of us tend to look like this, which I don't think you will find among Indian Bengalis.

Let's start an online campaign to get Sylhet to breakaway from Bangladesh

Yes I am Muslim. And no, I do not support an East Pakistan, just Sylhet. Most Sylheties might have opted for the creation of Pakistan because that was the only option to breakaway from India. But now it's different. To be honest, I don't mind staying a part of Bangladesh as long as some of those...

Let's start an online campaign to get Sylhet to breakaway from Bangladesh

I don't dislike Bangladeshis from Sylhet. As for others, it's case by case basis.

Let's start an online campaign to get Sylhet to breakaway from Bangladesh

I don't think it would be so easy in this day and age. Taking over one sovereign nation by another is not easy in the modern era where nations states have the UN as a protectorate. If we didn't have the international council of nations then Russia would already probably have swallowed up the...

Let's start an online campaign to get Sylhet to breakaway from Bangladesh

I don't particularly like anyone besides some British people, outside of fellow Sylhetis. I do have friends from various ethnicities - North African, Turkish, Swedish, Sri Lankan, but as a group I am most familiar with Sylhetis and British.

Let's start an online campaign to get Sylhet to breakaway from Bangladesh

I would like Sylhet to breakaway. I don't like people from Dhaka all that much. They are not very Islamic minded (not saying all but many) and some are traitors, supporting India on various issues. They also have a quasi-intellectual superiority complex. To me, a Dhaka-ite is just as much a...

Assailants hack to death writer Avijit Roy, wife injured

It's an internal Bangladeshi matter. I don't know why Indians comment on here.

Assailants hack to death writer Avijit Roy, wife injured

This guy was a pseudo-intellectual, ripping off other people's work off the Internet and trying to pass it off as his own thoughts. If he wants to criticise Islam then he should have done so from his base in America. Guys like him are a proxy for the Indian government, hellbent on destabilising...

I honestly think Hindu Bengalis will be better off in WB/India. They will always be treated as second class citizens in Bangladesh much in the same way Muslims are treated in India. Yes you can point to a few Muslims that have done well but they are extremely small minority and you have these...

I think Hindu Bangladeshis should be made to leave the country. You will have a situation where they will always backstab Bangladeshis and spy on behalf of India and Bangladeshis who will never trust them, so it makes sense they be made to leave.

It is India trying to create instability in neighbourng countries. This guy was a Hindu and should be in West Bengal. I think Bangladesh, despite being a secular country, should encourage it's Hindus to leave for West Bengal, because if we don't then it is very possible they will start to seed...

Bangladesh is a Muslim country first, living within a secular democracy. Secularism doesn't entitle people to criticise the religion of the state. You can be an atheist, but do not criticise Islam whilst in a Muslim country. You hurt the sentiments of people, a few of whom, in blind rage, may...

Indian actor calls for "uniting" 2 "Bengals" into 1

Don't worry, we don't want WB. We Bangladeshis want Bangladesh to be isolated. We want our borders to be erected with fencing so no one can penetrate it from inside and out. We don't our genes to be mixed with anyone one else. We see ourselves as Bangladeshi not Bengali.

    Reasons why Bangladeshis dislike India.

RanvirSena, those Biharis you posted look Indian and the guy in the black shirt looks South Indian.

    Many Bangladeshis have Turkic admixture

You said that cricketer is Bihari or Brahmi looking and I show guys who are more Europoid looking than him. That cricketer looks straightforward South Asian whereas the look more foreign than him. By the way, they don't look Indian. Show me Brahmin Bihairs.

    Many Bangladeshis have Turkic admixture

These guys are more Europoid ooking than that cricketer, not that they look outright European of course. Some of them are sort of Med looking in a way.

    Many Bangladeshis have Turkic admixture

Yesterday in my opening images I showed Bangladeshis that were much fairer looking than this cricketer. They were much fairer and people thought a few of them even looked sort of European.

    Many Bangladeshis have Turkic admixture

Once they came into the Subcontinent it was easy for them to move withn it. You have to remember Bangladesh is a very fertile part of the world, always had a strong economy which made invaders come in to exploit it. Why do you think the Brits had stationed in Bengal? Exactly for those reasons...

    Many Bangladeshis have Turkic admixture

I am not saying he shows African admixture on his looks but some Yemenis do. I just put up a photo of a famous Yemeni since we were talking about Yemenis. Anyway, this is getting out of hand debating petty stuff. Mod(s), I am requesting a self ban please and a delete of all my threads/posts...
