In these days of austerity they are likely to go for JF17s. There may be pressure from UK on Pakistan. Let's see what happens.

Honestly the Iraqis needs can be fulfilled with the jf 17s. Don't see them going to war against their neighbors in the next two decades. The 17s can take on anything the Iranians have anyway.

Any aircraft in Egypt's hands will mean Israel will get to know it's weak areas soon one way or the other. Intelligence sharing bw Israel and India is well known. Better not in Egyptian hands then. Don't want a repeat of 1967 & 73 and a bad name for the 17s.
