It is unfortunate that we are unable to keep our house in order, and have to rely on an outside power to tell us what to do, whether is the US, China or IMF. Yet what must be remembered is that for China this project is to generate wealth, not generate development of the people of Pakistan...

US and China do not confront each other directly, let alone fight for others. If you think China will come to Pakistan's rescue in case of war with India, not going to happen. Nor will US come to help India (not that we would need them against pakistan). Two front war will come to reality ONLY...

War between US and China is a nightmare, whichever way you look at it. It will be too costly for both the countries. And I highly doubt, if it happens, it will remain conventional. World must remember, US was the first, and till date only country to USE nuclear weapons against another country...
