DSI is only one piece of a much larger set of parts needed to make an aircraft. I do not understand the obsession with this specific part when much more important components such as China's production of 3rd Generation fighterborne AESA is in the works
The Japanese air force combat aircraft are both outnumbered quantitatively through minimal acquisitions and qualitatively through extremely old aircraft with most being 34 years old air frames and complete lack of modernization.
This leaves them with less than 100 modernized 4th generation...
Strength on paper is the only thing you can judge objectively. Otherwise we would be talking about what ifs and i hate those kind of discussions.
I sure do love the one liners that have no real value to them. Maybe make a real response that has anything constuctive to the thread instead of the...
The reason i believe India and Russia is not included is that their power in the area most pertinent to the article ie the Pacific rim is not as high as the mentioned countries. This does not mean they are weaker than the countries included in the list.
This some kind of joke?
While the Japanese navy and ground force is mostly up to date with the latest technologies the Japanese air force has remained almost completely un-upgraded since the 90s in terms of fighter aircraft.
The japanese air force is composed of only around 300 4th gen...
Indians with no argument so all they repeat is "its propaganda' like a bunch of headless sheep.
Yes that's certainly a great argument................................... for why Indians are the jokes of the world.
LOL just checked where Indians came into discussion.
Oh right it was you coming onto this thread to talk about how superior your un-commissioned toy was to the type 052D.
Get real we wouldn't discuss Indian crap if you didn't shovel it in our faces.
Give me a picture anything pls. Use that internet freedom you tout so much for something.
Biased nationalism has very little to do with stating facts. You have barely any knowledge of the Chinese military when you call J 31 and J 16 projects speculation when they're that open in the media...
Well you see non Indians here take what Indians say they will do with a grain of salt, or a truckful in most cases. Prejudice? No, we just look at what Indians say and then do. On average its close to a difference of close to 100%
Your arguing with a empty check here pal.
Non Indians here prefer to compare things that are actually confirmed
The Kolkata class is not operational end of discussion
For a country like India not to announce something like commissioning a destroyer is ridiculous when they publish stuff like this
http://www.defence.pk/forums/indian-defence/266357-iaf-chief-accepts-2nd-indian-c-17-today.html
You publish the smallest stuff and can't publish something like...
Hilarious as those two you mentioned have photographic and video evidence backing them up. The only capability we have is that we make stuff and you talk about making stuff
On the Subject between Chinese and Indian destroyer construction. I'm not going to argue which is better as any one can look up technical details for themselves and see what they like.
Instead I will point out the indisputable timeframes of the construction projects.
During 2003 China already...
The akizuki class is closer to a frigate compared to a destroyer. 32 cell vls certainly does not put it on par with actual destroyers. The only part that comes close is the 127 main gun that Koreans and Japanese navy's like to put on everything apparently.\
Wouldn't put too much trust on radars...
In service since 2010 the CM 501G was revealed to the public at the 2012 Zhuhai airshow. Seeing all the new big missiles, ship, and planes at the show its easy to see why something like this would be overshadowed.
However this new development is huge for a soldier of the PLA. Each module has...
Boeings newest F/A-XX sixth generation designs.
And whats that on its front... oh its a canard placed exactly like the J 20s LOL
In fact the wing geometry looks almost identical.
An anti-material rifle can still be considered a sniper rifle if its accurate enough. With the specifications given it certainly is accurate enough, and yes air velocity is calculated as you can read in post 9. No system is 100% accurate but with everything calculated within the scope with match...
