No they are not. Gandhi is known in Pakistan but not revered in any manner. He though was a great Indian leader indeed. The others probably are not even known in the manner.
I don't know why do you people feel this way.
They also go gaga about Mehmood Ghaznavi, Ahmed Shah Abdali, Mohammad Bin Qasim etc etc and all other Muslim invaders who came and ruled India.
We also go gaga about Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Do you Indians go gaga about the above named Pakistani heroes.
Claiming of IVC is mere acceptance of historical fact. Read my post, it describes the facts and not rhetoric as you express.
Pakistan is not part of India - period.
It is a separate independent country and Bhagat Singh was an Indian hero - not ours. What's your problem.
Your problem is...
Why should Pakistan honour an Indian hero. We are an independent and sovereign country and not part of India. Is there any problem in understanding this fact. He fought for India's independence and not Pakistan's.
We are not from India - don't you understand that. We are from Pakistan - a different nation, a different country.
We don't know who this gentleman was. He may have fought for Indian independence - who cares. We would have cared if he had fought for Pakistan's independence.
Do you understand...
No wonder India's colonial past still haunts you and India and you still think like colonials, this gentleman Bhagat Singh fought against. Unlike Aussies, you were and probably are the aboriginal Indians.
Doesn't your conscience prick you on such colonial thinking.
oho ..... what a shame indeed.
I had written it for another response - but what the heck, here is the proof.
The broad classification of Vedic literature tends to underline two different facets; Rig Veda based early Vedic literature and Atharva Veda, Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishadas based later Vedic literature...
I would have supported him if he would have been fighting for the Indian Empire from whom the British usurped power. When he didn't do that, he was supporting the domination of Indian Hindus and this is not acceptable under any circumstances. Period.
Oh yes, these have always been part of this land. However, like I said before IVC culture and traditions were never part of Indian Hindu culture or traditions.
Like the Aryan invaders - probably half of you are also malechhas and remnants of Aryan invaders.
Incidently, IVC culture and traditions were never part of Indian Hindu culture and traditions.
Here is your offensive remark .....
Tehrik-e-Taliban is a terrorist organization and calling a Pakistani in the manner is calling him a terrorist.
In my opinion this is not only insulting, it is highly offensive as well.
And this is what I referred to.
And I don't lecture people...
They did it on the request of Indian posters. And look at you, you are even blaming the Mods for respecting viewpoint of Indian posters.
Please discuss the topic instead of turning the thread into a chat corner between your so-called friends.
I have a right to express my opinion which may not be in conformity with Mods viewpoint. This is the beauty of this forum.
And I am not in any case starting a street fight, You are, by making insulting remarks. If you want to have a personal talk with some one, use another media for chat -...
