    BGB will soon get choppers.

Well instead of choppers, Hasina should give them the license to actually act on the border instead of staying numb.

Bangladesh rejects Israeli aid offers for Rohingya refugees

Well done by the Bangladeshi authorities. Our masses would go ham on the government if they agreed. If Israel wants to help, they can approach UN and go through that route. UN should not have any issues.

First 'Made in Bangladesh' Smartphone Primo E8i by Walton hits the market

Depends on where. In a particular halal restaurant I go to, 1 cooked-well and pan-made will touch around 20 CHF.

First 'Made in Bangladesh' Smartphone Primo E8i by Walton hits the market

Yes, that's what I meant. 3500 Tk is not much for even a Rickshaw-puller or garments worker, if they save up for few months. Very good move by Walton to first launch the cheapest ones to capture the low-end-income market. The high-end buyers are readily available and selling to them would not be...

But wasn't there an old news where we purchased surveillance equipments from Israel? I dont have the link but I am sure I read it somewhere in PDF. True though, if our mass even gets the scent of we striking any deal with Israel, they will go absolute ham on the government.

New U.S.-Backed Force Leads Terrorism Fight in Bangladesh

Exactly and add to it, our social structure. It's quite funny that in Bangladeshi societies, everyone tends to know everyone. Just look at Dhaka for example. You would definitely know someone who is say very tightly knotted to civil services, police, army, lawyers, politicians, doctors, big...

You're welcome. I think its my duty given a very old member of this sub-forum. Its unfortunate to see the potential of this section going down the drain. Though it is hard, I suggest we do our part. The Mod has a point tbf. Our members do often respond in kind and that makes it a level playing...

Certainly. You are correct in that regard. But what you are stating is not really getting reflected in ground. The opposite party (Indians/Pakistanis or whoever) mostly have their provoking posts retained. I can give tons of example as such. So are you really confident that both parties are...

India to supply Non-nuclear equipments to Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.

That is a possibility. I would reckon the onus is on our policymakers for not having clarified out the clauses. Regardless, I am not really worked up regarding taking Indian subcontractors. As i said, all I care about is the quality and the job well done. Its our first such project, it has to be...

India to supply Non-nuclear equipments to Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.

I mean I frankly dont see any problem. If India is going to contribute non-nuclear equipment, aid/consultancy in other areas and they are going to do it in good quality with affordable prices, I personally dont see an issue. If they have experiences that we can leverage, sure why not.
