Look dude, none of this is valid as long as Iran is sanctioned. If you want to uphold your patent then you must pay an annual fee. How is that done when you can’t do business with Iran? Also there are loopholes. Basically if you file from something which is already copied in Iran then it will...

    IRIAF | News and Discussions

The example you’ve provided has nothing to do with patents and everything to do false marketing. If you rebrand something in Iran and sell it for something it is not then it is an illegal act and you will be prosecuted. Doesn’t matter if the brand owner is foreign or domestic.

IP is regulated through patents by every country and/or union. That’s why if you invent something and want to protect your IP, then you need to file for patent in every single country you wish to protect your IP. If you fail to do so in a specific country then that country will not protect you...

Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

Its well know and documented that irgc told the government about the planned attack, hours prior. The government then warned the Iraqi government which in turn leaked it to the Americans. Early warning and/or waiting for last satellite image download seems overkill if the information has already...

This was a really nice read! Thanks for posting it! It put things in perspective. I have so much respect for industries building from the ground up. Even though the trucks above use old Mercedes shells, they are beneath all Iranian. Focus first on the most important and then move outwards. In...

Saudi Arabia to invest more than $20 bln in its military industry

Money is nothing. Honor is everything! If they are honorable then sky is the limit. If not and in fact they are only lazy cowards then they can throw in 100 times that amount and it won’t do them any good!

Iranian UAVs | News and Discussions

You need to present the timeline in order for this argument to be bullet proof. S129 was developed and operated before Fortros prototype was even ready by defence ministry. So even if IRGC would have wanted to buy it from defence ministry it would take too long for them to deliver it. Air force...

Iranian UAVs | News and Discussions

it is a aesthetically pleasing UAV. I give them that, much more so than S129 and Fortros. But it is still in the same class! This UCAV is everything that is wrong with the airforce. Why don't you just improve on current designs and why is it important for you to develop something which is a...

Let’s not be one dimensional like this gambit character. Of course Americans have had great inventions. Even today they have the best engineering and science in the world. That’s a fact. But it doesn’t mean that they invented everything in 21 century. Far from it. Most engineering marvels in the...

Completely wrong. Reimar Horten himself always argued that Horten ho 229 was indeed intended to be a stealth aircraft. just the fact that Northrop just happened to sit on all ho 229 IPR further strengthens that! many American wonder technologies are essentially copies of German ones-> rockets...

Iranian Navy | News and Discussions

I will admit that my knowledge in regards to ships and their propulsion is very low. So keep that in mind. However, as an engineer with fundamental knowledge regarding combustion engines, gears and shafts on the one hand and gas turbines and generators on the other, I have to say that to me it...

Don’t you think a MAPNA gas turbine can be used in a electric dual system? Basically the turbine is connected to a generator which powers the electric motor that runs the propeller shaft! To me this is the most “simple” design and Iran has all technological enablers to do such a system.

Since nobody is being the Devils advocate, then I’ll have to raise the question: The kian trucks look a lot like Volvo trucks. What the deal here? In the grey area between only re-badging and completely new, what are you guys thought on this truck?

Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

I understand your point. This is of course a better case if it is only an upgrade program. But even still, why is Artesh doing these upgrades and not the real experts having 20 years of experience, either IRGC or defence ministry. And this is not the only case. Look at air force UCAV...
