Turkey's $2.3b worth naval export to India

It's "have", not "of". "Could have", "Would have", "Should have" and so on. Frequently shortened as "Could've", "Should've", "Would've" etc. I'm genuinely curious how or why people began making this error. It's a recent phenomenon. Anyway, to respond to your post - I choose not to respond. :)

Turkey's $2.3b worth naval export to India

I don't speak Turkish, but in the Indian subcontinent, it does not mean bribe. And yes, the IN's CAPEX is tiny, given their ambitions and mandate.

Turkey's $2.3b worth naval export to India

Oh, I have long stopped posting here. I am amazed that someone like you still visits this place. You must have the patience of a saint. I miss the days when issues could be discussed on their merits, even with some trolling. As far as I can see, only haters from both sides frequent the Indian...

Turkey's $2.3b worth naval export to India

You might want to look up the meaning of "bakshish". It came from the Sanskrit "Bhiksha", and does not mean bribe. And the Indian Navy is not going to spend its tiny Capex to placate heads of state.

Turkey's $2.3b worth naval export to India

@Turcici Imperium : Do you have any other source for this news? Something from a newspaper or press release? For certain reasons (completely unrelated to Kashmir or other troll-worthy issues being bandied about here), I have my doubts about this. It is true that the Indian Navy is shopping...

Woman pilot who is a Kashmir hero

Haha no, despite the name and several other eerie similarities, I am not her. I am not in the habit of posting laudatory articles about myself. :) Interestingly, India has the highest share of female pilots in the world, at 12.5%. That statistic also shows what a male dominated profession it...

    Windows 10 Alternatives !

Kubuntu or Chakra or any other KDE based Linux distro would be my recommendation. KDE is infinitely customizable, and if you have an aesthetic sense you can make your desktop look beautiful, if that is important to you. If your priorities are different, yet again, Linux based OSes would win...

India successfully test fires made-in-India MP-ATGM anti-tank missile

You said a 100 crashed...your link says 4 crashed. So tell me again, how do you manage to come up with these beautiful but fictitious stories?

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

As I said - India operates hundreds of Dhruvs, and plans to induct hundreds more. (Thousands more, if you include its derivatives LCH and LUH. Does Pakistan have any equivalents to boast about? No, of course not - so I'd suggest you refrain from making fun of people far superior to you. Until...

    ASIA CUP 2018 - ODI

I'm not much of a cricket fan, but damn, what has happened to the once mighty Sri Lankans? Could someone kindly tag a few Sri Lankan members, so that we can have their perspective? BTW, Bangladesh has been doing pretty well in recent years in limited overs matches - at least enough to rise...

India successfully test fires made-in-India MP-ATGM anti-tank missile

How do you come up with gems like these? I wish I had such talent for outrageous fiction. Actually no, I'm glad I have some integrity.

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

Err...Nirbhay is actually working and maturing as a system, but what is your point? DRDO has developed and fielded plenty of missile systems - more than what we could have hoped for, when they were given the mandate to develop and produce ballistic and cruise missiles ingeniously. The only...

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

Some parts of the Tejas program read like a "how to not do things list", I'll grant you that. The keyword being "some". I can give you some ten or so critiques about what the IAF should have done better. But at the end of the day, we have a home-made, contemporary light fighter jet...

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

Is that why we are planning to induct it in the hundreds? You said it's "not flying" - which was either a misinformed comment, or an outright lie. Now you shift the goalposts, but again, the IAF has already placed firm commitments for over a hundred Tejas, and laid out plans for another 123...

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

It is flying, and has been for a while. End of story.

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

That's two words, actually. And HAL Tejas is a remarkable achievement for HAL. It's a fourth gen fighter in service with the IAF, and in future, it will be the mainstay of the light end of their combat fleet, playing the same role that mig-21s played so crucially all these years for them. It is...

Pakistan Has A Secret Weapon Called DRDO

No. All of them have been inducted into our armed forces in large numbers. You can educate yourself by googling.
