Read after post #262,to summarize no.Army tested the rifle and had no problems.It is just some undisciplined personnel who make it look like it has excessive recoil.

I am sure they can arrange something when it comes to price.Maybe we can add Know-How if it happens.

But considering rate of fire is 2+ times more than the M230,wouldn't it make it up for it?

I cannot provide you an official source.But everyone says that Cobra's armour is better than the French VBL which has STANAG 1 Level protection.So they say Cobra has STANAG 2 Level protection. And about the Cobra 2 keyword:guessing

What do you think is better?The 1 barrel 30mm M230 Chain Gun or the 3 barrel 20 mm Gatling gun on the T129?

AFAIK Cobra had STANAG Level 2 armor,so it can withstand up to 7x62.So i am guessing Cobra 2 has STANAG Level 3.

There were rumors that the Army was testing them in the Southeast.But Sakarya...are you sure you saw a Cobra 2? Btw guys there is also a rumor of a new Nurol vehicle!

I agree with the navies personnel being low,i also think that the future fleet will be small too.Considering Turkey is a peninsula and all three seas are hostile.IMO 4 AAW frigates won't be enough. I also think that Coast Guard needs more recruits too.Not enough for Turkey's 8000+ km shorelines.
