Firstly...........the QE Carriers were constructed under roof, for their first few years, as the modules were constructed inside buildings........obviously when complete, the modules need to be aligned, then the latter part of construction is continued outside............therefore it means...

I've seen this picture posted a couple of times, but its only now when you look closer that you can see what appears to be a modified CIWS system, in front of the bridge superstructure, though it appears, to be on a same level, as the main gun! I presume this vessel will be built at JN shipyard...

So...........when is construction to begin on the new Frigate type 057? Will it start soon, such as when the 20th and final 054A is launched?.......or a little later?.............and i presume it will be built at HP and HD shipyards! Any ideas as to what the expected procurement number is of 057?

I see someone at 'WIKI' has changed the commissioning date of the 5th 052C to the 30th April 2014.....they had originally specified the 14th April 2014. Lets hope the new date is correct, this time! :mad:

'cnleio'...............if you go to the 054A Frigate page at 'Wiki' you will see a build table for this class of ship. I cant claim that this info is 100% accurate, but it is the best we know as of this time. Currently 16 054A's are in service. The last one to enter service was No 16 'Sanya'...

Regarding the 052C's........there are just 2 left to commission...............and on the 'wikipedia' 052C page, someone has filled in the commissioning dates for the 5th & 6th 052C's ........and they are 5th 052C...............14th April 2014 ......................and 6th 052C...............9th...
