NATO will never win Afghan war

US goals from the time we went into Afghanistan have pretty much been met. We were never going to stay forever. Is everything perfect? no! I would like to see us stay a couple more years at least with about 100k more boots on the ground and relentlessly go after the Taliban including into the...

NATO will never win Afghan war

If we were getting our ***** kicked in Afghanistan on a daily basis as you claim. Then we would have much more then 3k dead in 10 years of war. Which is one of the lowest casualty figures in the history of warfare for such a major war and the time invlolved. The Taliban have suffered almost 10x...

You cannot quote from Quran in Pakistan!!!!

I'm not firing blind, did not the judge who convicted Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri end up having to flee Pakistan because of death threats? did not even other lawyers put garlands around around Qadri's neck and shower him with rose petals in court? There are Christians sitting in jail now charged...

You cannot quote from Quran in Pakistan!!!!

So long as the judges in Pakistan are allowed to be influenced and threatened by the hardliners. No Judge is going to side with a Christian especially in such a public case as this.

vets throw away their 'shameful' medals in anti-war protest at NATO summit

antiwar people have always been global. protesters can influence their respective Governments but have virtually no impact on foriegn Governemnt decisions. The hardcore antiwar protesters that march and throw their medals have little public support in the US. Don't mistakenly compare the...

Confirmed: Afghan ‘burn pits’ wrecking US troops’ health

WAR has that effect on people no matter what country you are from. In the US It is simply more highlighted then in times past because of mass media. Also many Governments strongly discourage reporting statistics of PTSD. leaving a false impression that it is unique to US soldiers.

War Crimes Of USA in IRAQ, Comes to table

Doesn't matter what proof or link he would post because you would simply dismiss it as western propoganda. Saddams atrocities have been well documented in histroy. as well as the factional violence taking place in Iraq. It wasn't the US blowing up multiple car bombs in markets. It wasn't the US...

US attack submarine docks at Subic

Of course they are not all concentrated directly in the south china sea. Just as China will not put all its subs in one place. But you can bet looking at the threat areas around the world. The majority will most likely be stationed in the asia region (North Korea, China). Iran would not require...

US attack submarine docks at Subic

During a recent trip to Thailand I decided to take a day trip over the border into Burma at Mae Sai. I was amazed at the level of Chinese copying. 90% there was nothing but cheap chinese knock offs. And there was no shortage of people wanting to buy them.

US attack submarine docks at Subic

Actually it's not to implausible since the US Navy has 43 Los Angeles class attack subs not to mention the Sea Wolf and Virginia class. Iran doesn't have much of a navy to contend with. And the confined shallow waters of the Arabian Gulf don't work well for hiding subs. What would be...

U.S. Military Taught Officers ‘Hiroshima’ Tactics for ‘Total War’ on Islam

what the guy taught is reprehensible and will be dealt with. that aside 100 nukes would not destroy the world. the US alone has detonated over 1000 nukes since 1945. The Soviets detonated even more untill the both sides signed the test ban treaty. Hundreds of those tests were above ground.
