'WHO? Call It China Health Organisation!': Japan Makes Big Allegations Amid Coronavirus

People still posting by only headlines (or in other words, clickbait) and not the actual content. In the article it has the following which provides proper context: ---start--- ... Taro Aso, the finance minister, said on Monday that the elderly should be allowed to "hurry up and die" to relieve...

New Estimate Puts CoronaVirus Death Rate at 1%

An infected person either recovers or dies. The official numbers has about 4,000 cured and about 1,000 dead. That makes for 20% death rate. The other 40,000 confirmed cases are yet to reach their conclusion of "healed" or dead. So using the ratio of death to confirmed cases isn't really a...

    Real-time update on coronavirus outbreak

Virus challenge may not end soon. Tough situation for Hubei. I think they are trying to get a handle on it. Keep at it China. Japan flew in 20,000 medical masks. Its just little help. Virus is not funny stuff. Good luck.

Japan and Vietnam vow to uphold rule of law in South China Sea

Being a hypocrite would be Japan building a massive island and airbase at Okinotorishima. But the only thing there is an encasement over some rocks to keep erosion from wearing it down below sea level. Now if the PRC abondoned Fiery Cross Reef, Subi Reef, Mischief Reef, and the other 4 man made...

1,000 Japanese lawmakers, businesspeople to visit Vietnam

Japan needs to stay on the cutting edge of technology. The PRC just launched 10 destroyers in 1 year. Along with Type 75 LHD. And carrier entering service. Can't beat them in numbers. Being the one that is developing the cutting edge will always mean long work hours. It will not end. しょうがない。...

1,000 Japanese lawmakers, businesspeople to visit Vietnam

Australia has lots of natural resources that it can export for money. No work, no technology, means Japan is just another 100 million population country with GDP less than the UK. PRC wins. しょうがない

1,000 Japanese lawmakers, businesspeople to visit Vietnam

Too neo-liberal and too weak on economy. World competition doesn't go away. Japan has no energy sources. Without work, then now advance tech ether. Other countries with less work hours also have low work hours yet still have low birth rates despite "more time for family", like Italy. There are...

1,000 Japanese lawmakers, businesspeople to visit Vietnam

Ok, sorry, I haven't heard about the deaths, thank you for posting. Here's a lenghty NHK article about it. https://www.nhk.or.jp/special/plus/articles/20190726/index.html There are some black markets and low lifes that are unable to compete with the rest of the industry in Japan. Vietnamese...

1,000 Japanese lawmakers, businesspeople to visit Vietnam

Well, apparantly the post about hypersonics wasn't enough, and was only met with "not enough". Most foreigners aren't used to Japanese work ethic. So then some Japanese managers might complain about wanting Japanese workrrs instead because of better work ethic. And then when foreign workers...

    JL-3 Test

While shorter on range, Japan is working on deploying hypersonics for the purpose of providing more deterrance and defending its southern islands. https://mainichi.jp/articles/20181015/k00/00e/040/158000c At the bottom of the page, its aimed for the JGSDF to deploy two battalions of them...

China, Japan, S.Korea strengthen relations in trilateral summit

Japan hasn't stopped building defense relations with Australia, the US, the Philippines, Vietnam, and India. It only means that China has realiazed that in combination with US pressure, it needs to stop doing things unilaterally. Has China deployed any fighters or bombers in the Spratly island...

China sends its second aircraft carrier (the first domestically-made one) to the South China Sea

Previous points took PRC BMs into consideration. Not enough to break force dispersion and they can't target subs.

China sends its second aircraft carrier (the first domestically-made one) to the South China Sea

You're missing the point, no Taiwan (regardless of taken by force or CCP win in Taiwan election or keeping status que for preventing hot war or whatever other reason that can be asserted), then no PLAN superiorty east of it.

China sends its second aircraft carrier (the first domestically-made one) to the South China Sea

Without Taiwan, then PLAN operating east of it would be operating in a disadvantageous environment because its too far from PRC coast and surrounded by Japanese and American missiles, bases, radars, and sonar stations. If PRC had Taiwan, then PLAN wouldn't be entirely surrounded east of Taiwan...

If the PRC doesn't have Taiwan, then it is evident that they don't have superiorty east of it.
