It is that same smashed into pieces box that first detected water in Moon's atmosphere, before the Orbiter payload confirmation, but announced in reverse. We all know this mission is up to the gods of probability. Any sane euphoric post is while keeping this in mind.

A technical snag was observed in launch vehicle system at T-56 minute. As a measure of abundant precaution, Chandrayaan-2 launch has been called off for today. Revised launch date will be announced later.

July 14, 2019 The launch countdown of GSLV MkIII-M1/Chandrayaan-2 commenced today at 0651 Hrs IST. The launch is scheduled at 0251Hrs IST on July 15th. July 14, 2019 Propellant filling of Liquid stage (L110) of GSLV MkIII-M1 is in progress.

This isn't like a communication satellite which would serve a certain need. Here the choice of the launch vehicle is as significant as the payload. It has been prepped and readied just as the payload. We are ready with the full package. And only when it has been readied are we going ahead.

As per the official brochure above, slight differences in the vague mission sequence I posted in #48. Sorry about the inaccurate terminology, especially stacking TLI and LTT into one. Mostly ISRO website. Elsewhere for specific things.
