Did Ayub launch 'Gibraltar' ? :D

    Reflections of the 65 war.

The underlined part is an interesting Proposition ! Doc, that excerpt quoted by @Bang Galore is credible. Ayub got really spooked after 1965. The problem was that he had neither the intelligence nor the intellect to out wit Bhutto..... his erstwhile protege who then became his bete noire...

    Reflections of the 65 war.

That is correct. After 1965, there was an irreversible change in India's Kashmir Policy; 1971 cast it in stone! In 1965; that "bash on, regardless" was certainly not a possibility. In 1971, the probability had increased. But Indira wisely took Sardar Swaran Singh's counsel and ruled it out.

So..... this system itself is all broken and decrepit. Where every thing is measured by the Kilogram or Dozens or Scores of posts..... is'nt that what all the ranks boil down to? As for the "Duly Anointed", "Titled Users", "Label-Wallas"; a good lot of them have been seen in action..... over...

Sure there are. For instance the Evoque is assembled locally as well. Volkswagen has a local plant too, and they have a local model which is very popular as taxis. Not bad, its similar to the Tata Indica; very functional.

Considering the abundant "proliferation" of these "Titled Users" (as you put it) there seems to be one hanging on every alternate tree-branch. But with what intention/purpose on the Forum...... may be a "Sorcerer's Secret" ! That is just the numbers game. Now, considering their actual...

kashmir is unfinished agenda of Partition #COAS

Oh yes; it certainly was..... Droughts, Huge Crop Failures, Economic doldrums... you name it ... it happened. Remember PL-480 shipments of wheat from USA ? Most of it was something called "Bulgar Wheat" which was usually fed to live-stock and which happened to be in surplus then. That was India...

kashmir is unfinished agenda of Partition #COAS

That pretty much sums it up. One side wanted to take away a Province from the other, failed. The other wanted to emasculate the other's Army, failed. Enuff said..... about the Military operations, many analytical accounts are there. On the Pakistani side, Maj. A.H.Agha PA is a credible...

Hey what is wrong with wearing a fake Rolex ? :P On one of my trips, I bought some in Shenzen and gave them to my Watchman, Driver and Cook respectively. They are the only guys in the neighborhood to wear Rolexes.... :D

Saudi king books entire Four Seasons hotel for US visit

Did the Bedouin Kings always ride Rolls-Royces in the Desert ? Even they rode on horse and camel backs and ate dates. Till the British and Americans gave them a country. Nothing wrong in small and humble things.

All over the place, mostly in Western India. I took only one ride in one of them; where the clutch plate disintegrated with some smoke and lots of sound effects, so the Driver rolled it to the verge of the Expressway and sat as "cool as a cucumber". That was the "nth" such mishap that he'd had...

If they could be original.......... why would they work so hard to be "knock-off" xeroxes ? :D They came to India with Buses too, inter-city ones; with a brand name called 'King-Long' which cost half of the Volvos with whom they were competing. First, the general public started calling them...

Please do not misunderstand my response or mis-read any context to it at all. I just stated the plain unadulterated TRUTH, because it must be said and it had to be recorded for posterity. No prefixes, no suffixes, no conditions whatsoever. Warm regards.

See Mate; this is the internet, people can and DO pose to be anything..... Hence all that criteria do not mean much, even more so if they are connected to the OFF-forum existence of members. The only thing that counts is the members existence and performance ON-forum. Even Barack Obama could...

Whew...... that is a huge deal of 'knock-offs' from what may be the world's biggest xerox shop; but the only one that I would like to buy is the "Lund Bund" knock-off always wanted to own a Range Rover. People can keep their "Cherrys".
