Taliban have been acquiring US weapons for years. ANA soldiers would just hand them over or were captured after a battle. They will use them because they will have to.
I hope this helps:

The article says more about the US than Pakistan, in my opinion. It's like a husband caught a cheating wife red-handed but...
Because the Taliban is no longer fighting but governing. They have an entire country to feed, to power, and protect. Requires change of gears and lots of cash.
Technically, there's no government in Afghanistan. The Taliban haven't formed a government yet. Then it needs to be recognized. The US taking a look and see approach. Assuming they even recognize the Taliban government, it may never see the money.
Biden is right here. The ANA didn’t even resist for a single moment. They had twenty years to create institutions like a government or an army. They failed on both accounts.
No point helping someone who can’t help themselves.
Northern Alliance? This is not the 1990s. Russia and Iran want stability in the region, hence they will work with the Taliban.
So far, the Taliban are making the right notes. The current crop seems more moderate than the Taliban of the 1990s.
What is to be an Afghan? Not even the ANA knew. They have no idea for who or what they were fighting for. No spirit d’corp.

Proof that IK is inconsequential in Pak-US relations. That power resides with GHQ. He's a mere spectator. This explains the lack...
What’s sad is that no South Asian country can produce a competitive football team. Bangladesh use to be football-focused before it was overtaken by cricket.
What hypocrisy? Where has the Pakistan government's freedom of expression been suppressed? Just because the Washington Post -- a private media outlet -- refuses to publish a response doesn't make them hypocrites on freedom of expression. Do I have the right to say what I want in your house...
What makes people feel that Pak-US relations are such that acquiring F-16s — new or used — is even viable? @Bilal Khan (Quwa) said it best: if the US wanted Pakistan to have more F-16s it would have done so by now.
Unless, the PAF is still waffling over the matter, Pakistan is looking towards...
What's the popularity of Chinese apps outside like WeChat, Baidu, etc outside of China (including non-Chinese users)? China is big enough to sustain these apps but they are not universal.
Also, Chinese apps are so particular to China that no Western app can match them, like WeChat. In fact...
