I don't know what false sense of security you are talking about, especially these days. Perhaps in the 1990s, India suffered from such a malady and paid a heavy price for it.
Kargil was Pakistan's last gambit before nukes entered the equation. Nevertheless, if Pakistan had the wherewithal to...
This is the problem with Pakistan governments, past and present: they keep their own citizens in the dark while making deals for bases, drone strikes, etc.
The US is playing good cop, bad cop. The core of Pak-US relations will be Afghanistan. The US wants an air corridor into Afghanistan for counter-terrorism. I’m sure the same is being discussed in Doha with the Taliban.
If Indians are chicken sh*t, as you say, why hasn’t Pakistan, or even...
Pak-US have been deteriorating since the end of the Cold War. Events of 9/11 temporarily reversed the trend, but with the WOT over and Afghanistan lost, Pak-US relations will return to their downward trajectory.
Immigrants usually head to big cities on the east and west coast, but these days immigrants are going directly to cheaper states like Texas. Houston has become the most cosmopolitan city in Texas. The number of immigrants in that city is just mind-blowing.
Why is IK getting praised for refusing to meet a deputy Secretary of State? She didn’t meet with Modi or India’s Foreign Minister. She was given the protocol equal to her rank. It’s only in Pakistan she was given above and beyond treatment. This shows the lack of self respect Pakistan has.
This will be the new policy going forward: where senior State Department will visit both India and Pakistan. They will visit India first and then Pakisan.
The US agenda is simple: Afghanistan.
The US did not ask for such a protocol. It was given by Pakistan. I assure the Deputy Secretary of...
Good news.
The airline needed to be overhauled to make it more competitive both domestically and internationally. Hopefully, the airline will be more customer-focused rather than employee-focused.
My parents use to fly Air India to go to India, but years of shoddy service and rude behavior by...
India didn’t create the refugee crisis so why should it shelter refugees? Then again how many Afghans has India killed in comparison to Pakistan-backed Taliban?
Thank you for writing these posts. It proves that India was a net benefit to Afghanistan while Pakistan has been nothing except detrimental. How else to explain the enmity Afghans have against Pakistan.
I drive a Subaru Forrester, which is an SUV. But if you are looking for something smaller, I would either recommend a Subaru CrossTek, Honda CRV or HRV, Toyota RAV4, or a Nissan Rogue. All good cars within your price point.
I know Indians are blamed for everything, but the animus against China is not Indian-oriented. And India does have regime change, it's called holding elections.
Given the state of Indo-Pak relations, India would not pursue either IPI or TAPI. You don't want to let your enemy have the ability to choke your energy pipeline.
First, no one is going to mistake Afghanistan for China or Russia. Unlike Afghanistan, China and Russia have full control of their airspace. And I'm pretty sure they are not infested with terrorist groups like AQ and ISIS-K. Second, do the Taliban have the capacity to go after all such groups...
