Most villagers/villages in the hills/mountains in Kashmir do this, hunt either porcupine or wild boar. You need good catch dogs and also game hunting dogs such as Gul terrier or Dogo Argentino type dog. Firearms not sure about.

As much as pak has tight relationship vis a vis china, China will always do what is in China's interest. There's no scope for adventurism, if the chinese are not on board or it is not a joint collaborative dual strategy, then it could be a miscalculation and get gangus of the hook.
