Israel to regain air dominance as touchdown of F-35 jets nears

I doubt the IAF lost air dominance because of Russia. Not to mention, the last time Russian and Israeli warplanes fought each other, it didn't end well for the Russians. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Rimon_20

India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman

If you know that, it would be the lead news story in a good part of the world. :o: I certainly, have never heard of such a plan.

    Israel's diplomatic spring

What a great honour. I am thoroughly impressed! One of the great men of the 20th century. We did as well until he was overthrown by the communists and effectively murdered by them. Ethiopia has never recovered from his absence.

India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman

Like I said, if Pakistan is doing what it is accused of then break off all relations and go to war or at least declare a state of war exist, but don't tell me how not throwing a cricket ball at their batsmen is somehow proving something.

    Israel's diplomatic spring

Sorry to derail the thread for a post but Ethiopia just isn't what it used to be. It's leaders now, pose with "stuffed" lions. It's leaders then, were the Lions of Judah and live lions bowed at their feet!

Which is another testament to why these silly boycotts don't work in the first place.

Trump’s Team Will Start New Wars in the Middle East

Of course, no one knows for certain what a Trump foreign policy is going to look like but two points: 1. Mr. Cockburn is a far left-wing journalist and therefore, despises Mr. Trump and his election, with every fibre in his body. 2. He must have been completely asleep during the entire...

Looks like an M-16 style weapon. What make is it and is it the standard weapon of the Norwegian ground forces? p.s., One of my closest friends in college (University of Utah) was in the King's Guard. He lives in Oslo now. Do all troops get to have beards like that? That's awesome if they do!

No evidences of terrorists group operating from Pakistan: US State Department

It's far more simple than that; the first is done by the President's executive branch and the second was a result of the actions of the Congress. They are politically opposed to one another until President Trump is inaugurated.

    A Trump Tower in Islamabad?

I don't know if it will ever be built but if it is, it will be the classiest, most luxurious tower, ever built in human history. :P

India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman

I remember that boycott quite well and national solidarity was the last thing it created. Despite initial public poll support, that quickly evaporated and it was disastrous to the Carter administration. His boycott was the subject of late night talk show jokes. Carter was perceived...

India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman

Well, if they are truly sending terrorists across your border, then break off relations and declare war as if what you say is so, then they are already committing acts of war against you. As to the two Olympic boycotts, I think that just bolsters my case. Both were silly (as it is in this...

That 'tremendous' call between Trump and Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif, What might India say?

No. No more than we can ever assure India that weapons we sell to Pakistan will not be used against them. Even assuming I accepted your premise....it does not matter what India thinks but only what China is doing. China is the world's emerging superpower and she is highly aggressive about...

That 'tremendous' call between Trump and Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif, What might India say?

The first part is correct but as to the second, America needs India precisely because of China, not the other way around. President Trump will cozy-up to Modi just as he is trying to cozy-up to PM Sharif.

India must not politicise cricket: PCB Chairman

The current disease of my country where absolutely everything in life, is now looked at through a political lens. That's what happens when people become so arrogant and hyper-partisan that they no longer think that those who have different ideas than they do, are not just simply wrong, but must...

Can NATO Survive Without The U.S.?

Not being argumentative but in my opinion, NATO is pretty much pointless, without a Soviet Union. We have little threat from Russia, except the one we have helped to create. Today's Russia is not the Soviet Union. It not only has no ideology that it is aggressively exporting, it's values...

American Politics | News and Discussions

The US Supreme Court may have said it's a right of free speech, (And I for one, disagree vehemently with that decision!), but some spoiled, two-bit, hippie wannabe, burns the flag my family and I have defended for almost two and a half centuries, and he will have to try and burn the next one...
