how will rafale radar outclass that of eft?? Fewer t/r modules(which are all still imported from usa),lesser range, no swashplate ( only 120 degree coverage as compared to eft 200)..... Radar and engine are two areas where the rafale lacks

@ sancho- the ef radar is not just better in terms of range(which is one of the most important factors), but it is also swashplate in design- most aesa radars cannot see very well to the sides( that is to an angle of greater than 60), swashplate helps it see upto 200 out of 360 degrees

rafale is not cheaper than typhoon..... Recently news about the uae rafale deal came out, and price is the only issue there.... uae is offering 7 billion euros, while the french want 9 billion( uae is buying 62 rafale to replace their mirages)..... Meaning that uae is offering 160 million...
