You are taking me wrong, I said its better because they are still not tested. 777 is still better because it is tested and it will not give you headache like 787 is currently giving to every airline who are operating it....around 2-3 wks before i saw a news something like boeing persons found...

B777 to be replaced? LOL... we are not going to replace any 777 before 2030(like 747). also we are going to induct 5 more 777 in 2015. and 777-300er is still better thn 787 9/10 and A-350 (because they are still not tested) and when they are near to retire 777-9x will replace them.

it's really weird that you are comparing 777 with Ilyushin 400...you can say that yes you can buy 6 aircraft from the money which we spent on 1 777, but in commercial aviation you don't go for cheap planes you have to choose reliable plane as i don't see any other reliable and safe plane other...

A-380 for PIA? 777 is more thn enought for PIA. We don't really have any route which is suitable for a-380's.. from next year we will start rcvng 5 new 777-3er(hopefully) and that would be enough for long-haul flights. we need a-321 in numbers right now. nothing else

No it's 50 Billion dollars. In statement Ahmed Mukhtar said that they offered arms worth 34 Billion Dollars and that was Major Defence Equipment which means Fighter planes/ Heli's could be there. as i don't think humvees or ground vehicles are included in MDE program.

Yeah FMS chances are very rare, But if USA is really willing to backoff from Afghanistan thn they can offer many things which are useless for them.

any equipment which goes for approval in congress is MDE.(that's my thinking) plus yesterday i saw a news ticker (ARY) that our defence minister ahmed mukhtar said that US offers defence equipments which are currently being used by US in afghanistan. US want's to go back and they offered us...

So what's the relation of kill switch with transponder transmitter? A/C use that for response, doesn't mean they can implement the kill-switch in transponder and can paralyse your A/C when it is doing dogfight.
