You are completely and utterly wrong here. Army had to change and adapt to the Indian threat and the concept of Jihad, that is why it could fight off the internal security threats too. The courts however , like the civilian bureaucracy has had no need to upgrade.

Again if u believe that other players, independent of the army, cannot get their way in Pakistani politics, well ponder hard again.

Judiciary is lesser evil? Haha
You might wanna visit lower courts one day, meet the people victims of the vicious thugs of judiciary and tell them this. Let me know what happens next.

It’s a lesser evil because it doesn’t maintain itself through its own power, it’s maintained by the military muscle.

Like i said, try visiting session courts and talk to people rotting in the system. 1

I have seen it myself with personal cases lasting for 10 years.

I say what I say because I know this system is kept in place by the military muscle. Dismantle that muscle today and the whole extended corrupt system would disappear tomorrow.
