Defense: Naval affairs mostly

Personal: lovecraftian lore (my user name and display picture, Hastur, are both taken from The Great Old Ones). I also enjoy keeping up with advancements in biotech and space exploration, exercise and being around animals.

It's a popular site, take your pick. Friends on other forums, blogs linking to PDF, search engine results, I've seen PDF's name sprout up a few times here and there.

The vibrancy and diversity of the community. I'm a member of several other forums but their populations are either smaller or less diverse and that limits the scope and depth of conversations. Pakistan Defense Forum is one of the larger defense sites and the breadth of topics covered makes finding someone to discuss one's interests with easier, and allow for multiple viewpoints to be had versus more homogenous forums.

5) What is your profession?

Researcher.

6) Future plans?

Retire as early as possible, take up scuba diving again, become a robot(?).
