When you have a warmong crazy enemy, you have to take measured steps.

NATO and India always blamed us for harbouring Ts, does that give them justification to attack us by boots on ground, air etc? No. They've resorted to proxy wars and covert ops. We should do the same.

We gave NATO permission, under duress, to carry out drone attacks. If we can force Afghan government to give us permission, then by all means pound the hell out of the hideouts.

Close the border indefinitely and hurt the Afghans until they give explicit permissions for us to butcher the Ts. Slap economic sanctions, hard and brutally.

My solution is to close the western border s indefinitely, create a buffer zone and use artillery and covert ops/proxies. That's a sufficient response.

How would that make Pakistan and India bleed?

TORKHAM: The Pakistan Army Monday tightened security at Pak-Afghan border and brought heavy artillery at border to shock Afghanistan, reported a private TV channel.

The step has been taken to check cross-border infiltration. The development comes after various suicide attacks rocked Pakistan in last week and handlers of these attacks originated from Afghanistan.

Earlier, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets killed dozens of militants in a series of airstrikes in a tribal region along the Afghan border.



Pak Army said it had information that terrorists from across the border were behind Thursday’s suicide bombing at the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar Sufi shrine in southern Sindh. Hours after the bombing, Pakistani security forces launched a nationwide operation killing more than 100 terrorists.

The army on Friday summoned Afghan diplomats and handed them a list of 76 militants who, they say, were supporting terror activities in Pakistan.

The Pakistan army reportedly targeted a training camp of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar — the banned terror group which had claimed responsibility for the February 13 suicide bombing on Mall Road in Lahore and another suicide attack on the headquarters of the Mohmand Agency’s political administration on February 15. Some reports said several militants, including the deputy commander of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, Adil Bacha, were killed in the strikes.

These cave dwelling monkeys were no threat to us before NATO and India went in. Without NATO and India, ANA NDS and kabul gov are nothing and won't last a month on their own. Taliban will finish them, we won't need to.

Our objective should be to hurt the real enemies NATO and India the same way they are hurting us, through proxy and covert ops.

In your first post to which I had replied you, you suggested to keep on operating the way we were. Afghanis do terror attacks in Pakistan and we return them the favor. Same is happening with India. Our economy can't take this blow of suicidal attacks. We need to be aggressive with the Afghanis by destroying the training camps which we've and then we got to seal the border which we've. The attack inside Afghanistan was the need of hour. We got to be aggressive where we can afford. As far as India is concerned, we got to be patient. If they do any real surgical strike then we got to do the same with them as well.

I agree with what you say. This is what my point is. Be aggressive, bomb Afghanis and seal the border so no more traffic gets in from there. After that, concentrate on India, don't initiate surgical strikes wait for them. Once they do, be aggressive and they won't do anything as Russia won't be supporting these warmongers anymore.

Its just the beginning. They had a 15 minutes war with us in 1970s as well if I'm not mistaken. P.A.F drilled their a$$ and then they wanted peace. They'll be drilled again In Sha Allah.

Million Dollar question is.... can we afford two front wars... answer is simple BIG NOT...
Our resources and strategic planning is Eastern border concentric... We must have to make good relationship with Afghanistan using Russia,China and Some GCC countries... I know what afghans are doing but we have to manipulate government and using covert ops. we can acheive what we cann't acheive by sheelings.

What you're suggesting is impossible as long as India is in Afghanistan and we've this puppet regime. We need to destroy the training camps. It's just the start, we destroyed the ones along the border. We'll go deeper and deeper to attain best results.

Just close the border for 6 months and results will be there without even one foot in afghanistan...

Yes. Create a buffer zone to keep new viruses out so that you can effectively remove the ones already inside and reduce chances of reinfection!!

I'd love for PA to bomb these scums to hell in Afghanistan as well, just like you do, but that has risks and consequences without getting authorisation from the lowlife Afghan Government or the UN!

Tactically, Pakistan would have been at best situation to use ISI to control the situation in Afghanistan just like India is controlling NDS through RAW. Worst case would be send through SSG operatives across border and carry out intel based ops.

India is stretching out Pakistan Army on all borders of Pakistan. The formations based in Peshawar and Quetta are reserve formations for a war with India. They are already engaged in FATA. Similarly, the reserve formations in different cantonments are rotated and sent in FATA for ops. There are formations permanently based along LOC, Siachen, Sialkot and Lahore as well as the desert regions in Bahawalpur and Karachi, and sending them over for ops in Afghanistan will further thin out eastern border. The best weapons in PA arsenal is at disposal of some of these formations like AK, T-80, M-109's, M-198's etc. These weapons bring out the best results in conventional Ops. Last time the tanks that were moved towards Torkham gate were T-59/69 series, I dont doubt the professionalism of PA but give them the best weapons and the personnel-weapon combo becomes lethally indestructible. PAF was conducting ops and sorties in FATA regions and now its being stretched to conduct ops in Afghanistan.

For all the people who are screaming here that border along side Durand line be sealed, its a 2000km+ border, it will take months and months if not years to seal it. The ditch is being dug but that has also not stopped the idiots from Afghanistan to enter Pakistan.

The intelligence agencies should be given more resources and man power because the failure of intelligence agencies leads to disasters in Pakistan but if any head of intel agency is held accountable, he will give a statement that intel was provided but action was not taken. Thus give the intel agencies enough man power so that before the blame game comes in, the intel agencies would have taken action by themselves. Place a brigade of SSG for external ops and Rangers/FC assets for internal ops under ISI if need be but lets end the blame game at least.
