Power of Afghan Army/Airforce.. How can we measure Afghan military strength?

Honestly, I think our Sindh Rangers would be able to take them, even without much heavy armour and Air support.

There's no one easy measurement that gives you a full picture, but there are a few basic pieces of the puzzle that give a rough estimation.

Budget: How much money does a country have to spend on troops/guns/tanks/bombs/etc.

Available soldiers:

Technology:
4 example would be North Korea. They have a large army with lots of troops, but not much in the way of force projection. Those troops can potentially threaten North Korea's neighbors, but NK doesn't have much technology that would allow them to direct military action very far beyond their own borders.

hahahhaha... well i think the only one that will fight would be just ppl from northern AFG ... and they will fight just because of hatred for pakis in their heart, other wise they dont have any intention to fight with pakistan. Moreover its true that they have never accepted pak from their heart because no one wants to compete everyone wants monopoly but pakistan emerged in 1947. The truth is pakistan can never control afg or can never will have good relations with afghanistan but its better for both countries to just be in limits and have relations similar to brazil and USA.

Sindh Rangers are part of Pakistan Rangers which is capable enough to safe guard our borders and other important points during war and you are comparing our rangers with afghan army?? Weird

Pakistan Rangers itself is a powerful land based force which accompanied our army in kargil war and fought successfully.
