This is the biggest dhokaa for the biraders in Kashmir.
400% Musharraf needs to come back to his native and fight for this "leader of a fine NGO".

Will that count as "Solid proof" for your half brother now in UN?

I know that Indians treat the issue of Saeed and Azhar as that of justice, that they be made to answer for their crimes. It is so, but their is an entirely different facet to the issue.

Liberals in both countries have always insisted that it is the establishment/deep state/vested interests that have sown seeds of enmity between the two countries. While I am still a liberal, I no longer subscribe to that view.

In my view, the establishment in Pakistan is in no different a position than that in Saudi Arabia. Left to itself, it would take decisive action against people like Saeed and Azhar. Just as the Saudi royal family knows that the Wahabbi/Salafists pose an existential threat to them, Pak government and army realize the same about rabid Mullahs and idealogues. These people are essentially anarchists, and if India did not exist their enmity would be turned towards the Pakistan state.

However, for whatever reason, these people enjoy support from sections of the masses. It could be because many Pakistanis believe they are fighting a just war against the Indian state in relation to Kashmir, or it could simply be animosity towards India. Whatever the reason, the net result is that for Indians, this section of Pakistanis is as much responsible for the current situation as Saeed, Azhar, ISI, Pak army etc.

This is actually a litmus test for the Pakistani people. Decisive action will only be taken once the establishment realizes there is no political capital invested in protecting these people. Until that time, every civilian in Pakistan who attends their rallies is Saeed or Azhar to Indians.

This kinda validates India's position...that he is a terrorist. Not for india alone, but for pakistan too.

LOL... that is a most ignorant thing to say.

Hindus do not hanker after "Justice" since that is a Forbidden Fruit for the sake of "secularism".

At best we seek to put an end to "State sponsored terrorism" or the current WAR also called the "proxy war".

As for why Pakistan breeds these snakes, one reason is to deflect from its own short comings, another is to find cheap human fodder and another is to fight a low cost war. (cost in terms of USD, not human lives). Another reason is that the PA needs an "Enemy" to consume a disproportionate share of revenue from the people of pakistan.

Finally, people of pakistan have no say in what goes on in PA HQ. They are at best spectators, at worst cheer leaders.

Expect nothing to change unless the PA finds it difficult to get US visa's for their kids. Guess what ? That just happened and voila, we find Hafiz saeed in jail.

LOL... are you serious ? He is a convenient disposable "tool" for the "Establishment".

A thousand others stands in line to take his place and it will happen before you can say "allah ho akbar".

Take a reality check. What value does the pakistani word have ? :disagree:

Tomorrow when the tide turn, they will say he is not a terrorist with the same straight face.

All true...but our stand and word gets redeemed. China was harping that he is not a terrorist. But look now, pakistan itself booked him for terrorism.

It has good value for India, but let us not get carried away.

Its not like China did not know the reality earlier. They just pretend to be blind, and tomorrow when the pakistani again claim he is not a terrorist, china will again take a u turn and say that the earlier proof was faulty.

Its not like they have any more credibility than the Pakistanis. Maybe a little bit more, but not enough to trust them on anything.

Hey you and I know it's just a farce. Terrorism will not stop.

But I think diplomatically our word has credibility today. That is a powerful tool to have.

So in pakistan for person to be provided protective custody, they charge with him anti-terrorism law...:undecided:
Government know they don't have any evidence. Because he was freed by court last time due to lack of evidence and india haven't provided any so the result would be the same again.

Again I disagree. The world is well aware of the reality of pakistan and has been for quite some time.

And our world always carried credibility in diplomatic circles.

The only thing this shows is the power and influence of American resolution and POTUS. Noting to do with India and our ability to influence events.
