About 3 years ago and many times through, similar things were being said about RS by similar type of people who want INSTANT GRATIFICATION! These people are absolutely clueless how a professional soldier with 30+ years of experience thinks and strategises yet being of ages less than his experience they are judging him already on his capabilities without an iota of knowledge.

RS is the benchmark....... No one was like him in the past, no one will be in the future(i hope i am wrong)

Also, there is no popularity contest.

Policy was formed during Kiyani's tenure, and RS continued with it, and QB will do the same. Just because their styles are different, it doesn't mean one is more or less effective.

Take for example a company, for those who can't relate. Strong companies have short term and long term plans and strategies that are approved at the board level (read: the establishment). Previous CEO may have been a great speaker, flamboyant, motivator etc etc and much loved. Whereas new CEO can't match those traits, but he and his team delivers as per the plans or even exceeds during his tenure. Personality does matter but in the end only the results are remembered and success measured against the results.

An extrovert and an introvert can be equally successful in the same job, and success is not measured by high popularity ranking for a COAS!

Guys come on what is wrong with you? What do you rather have them do? Enforce Marshal Law? Take a friggin' chill pill and give the team some time. This is the same team and they have the same goals, we are on the right track. Army has decided to give space to the political parties while they clean the mess which is the best strategy at the moment.

Give the man some time.. Whats done is done! If this Gen is incompetent.. then the institute itself is incompetent. Sir.. It takes almost a lifetime to reach that stage.. a journey with so many checkpoints and scrutiny.. Anyone who reaches to the top... Cannot ever be incompetent. Everyone has their own way of working out things. Let's see what this guy has in his hat!

Mutiny: There have been serious attempts in the past but all were thwarted. One such attempt was made by the 111 Brigade itself. Rest were thwarted by it. Not gonna happen now. Too many eyes and ears.

NS is moron but he hasn't made the same mistake again,.. This time he has picked the right guy for himself,.. this time he has done his evaluation properly before picking the COAS,... I hope that things stay calm else our Satto Army chief seems useless and we'll suffer big time..

If it makes any difference, I have heard census ke baad army will be gearing up to deal with all the outstanding issues being discussed in this thread. You'll see many important postings in the next two months or so

Some circles think he is noonie himself with close relations with some noon leaders. This can be one reason. Second, there were reports that his father in-law have personally guaranteed that he won't do anything to noonies. And his father in-law who is ex General is a declared Qadiani. So.... There are suspicions

Bro/sis let me open your eyes to the reality: the reason our nation is suffering is because of ignorant fucks like you (just like trump supporters). We need to ask the right questions and we need to ask as many as we can and only through answers to those hard questions can our problems be solved. Unfortunately our politicians are always busy putting out old fires that they dont have time to think and ask questions, hence the army has to ask those questions and provide answers.
