In its latest editorial in the party mouthpiece Saamna, the Shiv Sena has said that the increasing population of the Muslim and Christian communities is dangerous for a Hindu country.

Referring to Sadhvi Deva Thakur's words that the population of these two communities should be controlled via vasectomy, the Saamna editorial defended her and said that maybe she wanted to say family planning.

The editorial said, "In the near future, the Muslim population of India will exceed the number of Muslims in Indonesia and Pakistan which will result in the cultural and social imbalance of a Hindu nation."

In order to contain the population of both the religions, vasectomy or family planning are the only solutions.

Taking a potshot at MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, the Saamna editorial said, "If Owaisi is so worried about his Muslim brothers then he should promote family planning among Muslims and should support the burkha system for women."

Taking the advice to Owaisi further, the editorial says, "A small family can eat properly and can prosper. A small family can also ensure good education for its children."

At the same time, the editorial also said that if the Muslim population continued to grow in the same way then it may lead to the formation of a new Pakistan which will not be able to provide a healthy, disease free lifestyle for the ever growing Muslim population.

The editorial also took on Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan who had said that "Muslims have more children because they are poor." Slamming Azam Khan, the editorial says, "Muslims are poor because they have more children."

The editorial also asks the Muslim leaders to ask their community to adopt family planning and save the nation.

Muslim birth rate in India is much higher than Hindu birth rate. Muslim population growth rate will transform the Indian political map. This will only strengthen Muslim and Pro-Muslim parties in India as provinces that were once majority Hindu will become majority Musulman.

Muslim population increase will not benefit Muslim because they are so divided and if they become one they can easily change the out come of any election in their favour .
Family planning is against the religion so they will never accept it in public but may be in long term they will do it in individual level.

The poor may become radicalized and go anti state. This could happen by millions of them turning at the same time.

At some point in the 2020s, India will be home to more Muslims than any other country in the world.

A study released last week by the Pew Research Center predicts that by 2050, the world’s Islamic population will rise enough that there will be almost as many Muslims as Christians—possibly for the first time in history.

The report’s data shows the Muslim population of India is set to expand at a rate fast enough that the South Asian nation will overtake Indonesia as the country with the most Muslims sometime between 2020 and 2030.

“Because Muslims in Indonesia are having fewer children, India is expected to pass Indonesia and become the country with the world’s largest Muslim population,” the report said.

Hindus in India will continue to far outnumber Muslims. But Muslims’ share of population will rise, Pew expects, to around 18% in 2050 from about 15% today.

Over the same period, India’s Hindu population will likely slip from around 80% today to about 77% in 2050.

According to Pew, between 2010 and 2050, India will add about 325 million Hindus and 100 million Muslims. That would represent a growth rate of around 33% for India’s Hindus and 57% for Muslims.

In many countries around the world, migration and conversion is driving changes in religious mix. In India the growth in the Muslim minority is mainly attributed to fertility rates.




In India, the average fertility rate for Muslims is 3.2. That means the average Muslim woman is expected to bear at least three children in her lifetime. Hindus in India have a rate of 2.4, Christians a rate of 2.3.

Migration isn’t as big an issue in India because few people of other religions migrate to the country—though migration from India is boosting the Hindu population in countries around the world.

Despite accusations that different religions are trying to convert Hindus in India, the Pew report did not include any data about conversions in India.

The report predicts there will be a tiny net gain in the global Hindu population through religious switching in the period from 2010 to 2050. However it did not include numbers from India because it is such a controversial topic and there is not enough reliable data.

“After analyzing Indian survey data and consulting other sources of information on the country, researchers were unable to discern a clear pattern of religious switching,” the report’s appendix says. “As a result, this report does not estimate religious switching in India.”

Before the end of the century people would not be caring much about who is dalit or who is brahmin as people are getting educated day by day.Civil war is the least expected thing that can happen,it is not slavery.Untouchability exists in few portion of India & in todays India very few cares about who is sc or who is st..On the other side people are afraid of muslims because of their extremists mindsets else there is nothing left of hatred.Indeed it would take a century for muslims to hardly near what is half of our hindu population today..

We witness the Indian secularism when Muslims are in Majority in Kashmir. We are witnessing the same in Hyderabad and mallapuram in Kerala.

This type of thinking is what is creating xenophobia in India. Hindus get scared because of muslim propaganda like these and then they want to start sterilization, remove voting right etc.

Do you know by 2030 muslim population will be only 16% of India from 14% now. They will always remain a minority. Israel has much more % of their population muslim, but they dont have a problem with their population.

More, the Indian muslims are very open minded. I heard a few even say that that they are muslim by name only, they drink, eat anything etc. just think their children wont even identify themselves as muslim.

I know Pakistanis want to see a civil war in India by all the likes your post got, it will remain a dream. Even if it does become a threat, we in India have vigil organisations to take care of it before it becomes a threat. But I doubt it ever will.

Tell me one thing, why Pakistan as a full homogenous muslim nation is seeing a civil strife right now?

I predict that Pakistan with its Shia Sunni problem and TTP etc, will never see economic progress and will continue to be a black hole on earth.

Keep your hopes high what you are best at..Growth rate of muslim has already decreased compared to previous decade & would decrease more in future while Hindus are increasing..So we will be everywhere like a shadow..

Family planning is what is lacking among certain sections of the society. Hence the uneven growth in population. Lack of awareness or religion may be a reason for this.

On average, Muslim families in India are having like 4-6 kids per family much higher than Hindu families. Decades from now you will see provinces like West Bengal become majority Muslim. Hindus will leave West Bengal as Muslim numbers grow and flourish there both from migration and birth rate, and it will become a majority Muslim province sharing a border with Muslim majority Bangladesh.

Muslims are extremely barbaric, once they finish with others they start attacking each other. Look around the world, muslims are killing more muslims than anyone else. They themselves are controlling their own population. Even in Pak with muslim majority there is no peace.

In the future if these regions become muslim majority we must cut them off and let it self destruct.
