hard to tell. Civil engine is much harder to reach maturity, safety standard is very high.

Also it’s a moving goal post, to have a modern engine that is competitive with the Leap Engine from GE/Safran

I think I saw a timeline where the hope was by 2028-2030; to equal Leap 1C engines. Let see what redevelops by the end of the decade. Wasn’t sure if they were keeping up with the timeline due to any potential delays.
