I would be completely against selling Egypt JF17B3s, im all for selling them the block 1/2 versions with downgraded avionics. Selling them our best jets would be giving India/Israel our latest technology.
Israel? The same Israel that sold tech to China that helped its fighter programs?

Doesnt matter, that was in the 80's. Now Chinese tech is on par and even ahead in many areas. Egypt being a client state of Israel and being pro-india would be a huge national security risk to sell JF17B3s too.

Move in to reality my dude, the Israelis could get JF-17 data via espionage without them being anywhere near Egypt. Defense espionage is very easy all you need is cash.

Doubt it
Eygpt is probabaly going to stick to mig35 f16 and rafale
Jf17 was made to be light fighter to plug in numbers
Eygpt doesnt need it if its getting security assitance in form of f16 from USA with no real regional threats since arab world and isrealis are close allies and other countries like ethopia libya sudan etc have no airforce
I agree with you. with the Arab Israeli friendly ties established there is no need for another jet specially when it already is getting sterilized F-16s from America enough for its air shows and to dominate airforceless nations. Iran is too far away and in the event of an air war, the Arab Israeli coalition has enough to tackle what Iran can throw to defend itself.

brother ,
I doubt if the JF-17 has anything ground breaking that would interest the Israelis to seek some intel. at best its a budget version of F-16 nothing more.
SU 30 ,r Mig 35 or even J 10C might be something Israelis will like to know about more if Pakistan or Iran field them.
again I wont be surprised if the Israelis already have the necessary intelligence to counter them

Block 2 with aesa upgrade shud be enough fir them
Definitely no AESA, then the Chinese would never cooperate with us again.

What influence does Israel have in Pakistan? If israel had any influence in Pakistan i doubt it would be negative to begin with and the likes of nawaz/zardari would be in jail. Just look at how Nawaz backstabbed his own Saudi backers to the deteriment of our nation, when he owes his own life to the saudis for saving him from being hung... and you think the israelis would be stupid enough to trust liar pakistanis? that is the aukat of our leaders yet you think we are so special that ISRAELIs have some intelligence on us lol

So sell Egypt which is an Israeli/Indian lackey an advanced version of our best jet??? what has Egypt ever done for Pakistan? oh I know support India since the 1950s till this day.

Same as the Palestinians.. Pakistanis are world renowned prostitutes for foreigners. Taking a stand for Pathetic sellout nations rather than stand up for our interest first... look how your own egyptians brethren treat Palestinians....

I did not say give them free...

Money from sale can go into other projects...

U can give egyptions phasers and flying saucers they will still manage to lose... As long as tech is not compromised and price is within a reason... Our reason... Its fine

Palestianians in general support india and their arab world

However our stance on palestine is based upon simple principls and to avoid another choas inhouse

Same is true for some other muslim countries
The losses from internal choas is far more then any preceived benefit we will get from relation with isreal which will be next to nothing

Sure, and why do you think that is?

Nigeria negotiated with us, initial negotiations with other countries such as Azerbaijan etc also were through us

But why not Egypt?, These countries have never really helped us or anyone in the Muslim world

They are selfish, they were at best neutral when it came to Pakistans enemies and at times even underhandedly complicit giving our enemy economic revenue avenues

Increasing Pakistani resentment isn't out of the blue, it may mean little at the moment considering Pakistans corruption and economic position, but a time will come when the Arabs will regret this double dealing behaviour

Sino-Pakistani aircraft FC-1 / JF-17
It is good for Pakistanis to search for markets for it, and to sell the plane to Egypt is an elegant idea that will open many other markets for it.
The Plane
It is basically suitable as an advanced training plane, the JF-17B version, and Egypt is graduating from service 45 Alpha jet and 48 L-59E planes. Consequently, it is in need of light combat. An advanced training plane can be expanded to obtain locally 120 planes for the local market and perhaps also for the Sudanese market.

Pakistani JF-17 problems with Egypt and with export in general

The aircraft is an antique design from the basis, inheriting the tubular design of the MiG-21, with limited maneuverability, and it was rejected by Egypt and Argentina, with its severely weak structure, to fight air-to-air. Therefore, Egypt recommended Pakistan that the development should include the structure, the capabilities of the aircraft and the trust -for-weight ratios.
It is due to the lower life of the RD-93 engine than the RD-33MK3 engine. Therefore, the countries preferred the RD-33 Series 3 engine.

Other problems for the plane Price: Myanmar bought the plane at a price of $ 16 million
Myanmar bought 100 million dollars worth of munitions, meaning the plane cost just 22.5 million dollars
Pakistan was selling the plane at a price of 25 million dollars + commission to the selling agent 4 million dollars for the Block 2 version, so you only

found the Nigerian customer of a country famous for its complete corruption in its deals, and what was released about the price of 182 million dollars to buy 3 planes, an order that explains itself is normal for any country to buy from China

Egypt requested a complete technology transfer, the freedom to develop and self-adjust the plane, and the technology to produce BVR missiles, and when China refused, Egypt rejected the deal completely, and all deals faltered.

India is offering the LCA plane at a price of $ 30 million to Egypt for the training version. It is distinguished by its ability to effectively air combat, design and structure much better than the Pakistani plane.
Egypt can simply add 50-70 MiG-35s to replace the Mirage 5
Italy is offering it 36 M346FA planes, locally produced and even for export to African and Arab countries

mockup.jpg

Therefore, Egypt can add 50-70 private MiG-35 aircraft with local assembly with the Italian plane, unless the Indian and Pakistani offers are better in price, and transferring better technology and technology.

Some Pakistanis under the illusion that their plane is superior and that it is of high technology or technology, and no country with a respectable air force thought of it. Even the Gulf countries that supported Pakistan, found it not suitable and preferred the British Hawk, and some find that it is enough for Egypt, Block 2, even though Block 3 if Egypt chose it would be An average of the best dreams of Pakistanis about it, whether equipped or modified. The plane’s position is sensitive. It will not be able to confront a plane like the Israeli F-35 or F-15, and if Egypt thinks about it, it will be a light ground support plane that does not exceed the role of the Alpha jet, but it is not even suitable to be a good alternative to the Mirage 5

China itself is offering Egypt the J-10C plane and its modifications to compete with the MiG-35 at a price of $ 40 million, which is a price pressure on the prices of the MiG-35, as well as the JF-17.

Guess china should sell it then to avoid comission and ask pakistanis to produce it just like the myanmur ones which were photographed being produced in pakistan
IMO LCA is better option as eygpt has very close ties to both isreal, USA and india
