    Hello,

    Anyone know how i can go about to do this? Its my first time, i live overseas but want to visit Pakistan. Originally a friend of mine was going to take me with him to his family in Kashmir who would hunt boar but that fell through, anyone else know how i can get this done? Id also need a firearm, i am a little confused in regards to the law.

    "temporary firearm dealing events are not regulated"

    "In Pakistan, the private sale and transfer of firearms is permitted."

    These are both unregulated. Do i need a license for temporary use too? The law states that Celebratory gunfire and temporary dealings are not regulated, am i able to say, buy one or rent one or even borrow one privately (with a license owner or someone experienced) and use it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Most villagers/villages in the hills/mountains in Kashmir do this, hunt either porcupine or wild boar. You need good catch dogs and also game hunting dogs such as Gul terrier or Dogo Argentino type dog.

    Firearms not sure about.

    That definitely sounds more fun than hunting with guns but wild boars run pretty fast, can the dogs keep up unless you're using a hound breed.

    Do y'all use bully kuttas and kangals?

    Yes Bully to bring down, but not for chasing.

    Interesting, this looks a lot like Rajapalyam and Mudhol Hounds used in South India

    So a coordinated attack like a hound breed for chasing and a powerful breed like bully to bring it down

    They do it all the time in my area (AJK), guns, dogs and all the guys in the local area, what a fun night out!
    Not sure about the exact details regarding gun permit, resident Pakistanis can answer this better.

    Yes that's right. Faster breeds to flush them out, bigger working dogs bring them down.
    Give the meat to local Christian Pakistanis.

    Proper hunting;

    This is pit fighting, don't agree with this;

    1. Hunting for sport is a barbaric activity.

    2. To hell with dog breeders and dog lovers.
