KARACHI: The Sindh police on Tuesday announced the arrest by UAE authorities of a key man of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) who, they believe, facilitated the November 2018 attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi.
A senior official of the Counterterrorism Department (CTD) said that the suspect named Rashid Baloch was arrested by the UAE’s law-enforcement agency in Sharjah a few days ago. He was marked out as the key man behind the attack on the Chinese consulate, that was foiled by security forces but left at least seven people dead.

“Rashid Baloch alias Abdullah is not only the facilitator of the attack but also a key man of the BLA,” said DIG CTD Abdullah Sheikh. “After the findings of the initial investigation, we were closely monitoring suspects and finally found his connection with the episode. The interesting fact, that we gathered through technological support, is that he was very close to the Chinese consulate when it was attacked and personally monitored the assault.”

Another fact, he said, that emerged during the investigation is that Rashid received Rs949,000 to his bank account just days before the attack and he arranged all the finances, logistics and cash support to facilitate the attackers.
In November, three heavily armed militants attempted to enter the Chinese consulate in the ‘high security zone’ of Karachi’s Clifton but were shot dead in an encounter with law enforcers. The gun-and-grenade assault also claimed the lives of two police officials and two visa applicants, as well as injuring a private guard of the foreign mission. The BLA claimed responsibility for the attack. The Karachi police chief Dr Amir Sheikh had already shared with the media the key findings of the probe, that suggested that the attack was planned in Afghanistan and carried out with the assistance of the Indian intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
Before the recent arrest in Sharjah, the Karachi police had already claimed to have arrested some five facilitators from this city, Hub and Quetta during the investigation into the attack, that they believed was aimed at sabotaging the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and create divisiveness between the two countries.
“We have forwarded our request to our seniors for the safe return of the arrested suspect but definitely it may take time to channelise things and meet all the formalities. The two countries will be looking into the details of the matter and sort out things in line with the defined laws,” said DIG CTD Mr Sheikh.

The biggest questions are - WHY ARE ALL THESE BABOONS NOT IN JAIL??? Why are the agencies ALLOWING THIS DELIBERATELY and DELIBERATELY CAUSING DESTABALISATION IN THE COUNTRY?

The state has so much power that if they WANT they can shut down anyone and anything!! But the very fact they are allowing this makes people question the INTEGRITY OF THE PAKISTAN'S MILITARY LEADERSHIP.

Pakistan has many traitors. Nawaz and Zardari are treating Pakistan as their family run business with their next generation taking over.

There is a time and place for everything this part of the reality is truth but you can never be certain about the results if you decide "of your choosing ".
You let these corrupts go 3 years ago when they were helpless caught with hand in cookie jar that was the time and place to nail these corrupt elements but the so called " of our choosing " have cost us dearly. Today we are in FATF because
1. We let Nawaz sharif go
2. We let PPP rule Sindh.
3. Our politics is dirty rotten structure from foundation to the roof .
4. In that Sacred place called Parliament where the rights of God's creation ought to discussd is now filled with unholy devils who trample and have been trampling on the rights of every single Pakistani that dies without medicine without food with access to basic requirements of life and YOU let these people GO every fucking time what you think World is STUPID and don't know about likes of NS and Zardari's?
5. If you did punish these corrupt politicians back then 2 years ago then we could've shown the world that whatever happend in past was because of these elements.
6. Our establishments compromise have brought status of higher ranks to the point where there is lots of rumors about plots and profits in letting go these corrupt elements among average Pakistani.
7. For the sake of our average Pakistani average soldier please for God sake STOP playing these deep games with these guys. Some time its better to blow up the whole rabbit hole instead of trying to figure it where it leads too.
8. Maryam Nawaz, Bilal Bhutto and many sons and daughters of Haramkhor will keep getting stronger with every single "DEAL and every single PHONE CALL".
9. BIG Wars are on there way and Pakistan civil security infrastructure is not ready to handle the pressure that will be building up.
10. RAW will hit target and manipulate the civilian rotten structure and there are so many loop holein there as we saw with the incident of MAZAR E QUAID.
If you keep giving them space just to see where the rabbit hole leads to then here is a newsflash and possible outcomes for you smartasses
AJJ army ko gali detay hain
Kal QUAID KO
PHIR Pakistan ko
Altaf would never be Altaf if he was taken care off at the right time and just imagine how many lives couldve been saved. NOW what another 30 years of terror but this time in Punjab and PMLN will be allowed to become MQM? I ask why we fucking shoot ourselves in fucking foot "EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME" WHY WE DONT JUST CUT THE CANCER KHANDAN'S ONCE AND FOR ALL. ITS TIME EITHER THESE KHANDANS OR PAKISTAN BECAUSE THEY BOTH CANT SUCCEED TOGETHER NEVER HOW CAN IT? YOU HAVE TO BE OUT OF YOUR MIND IF YOU THINK YOU CAN COEXIST WITH CANCER AND LIVE AT 100% CAPACITY. YOU DON'T NEED CORE COMMANDER CONFERENCE TO GET THIS ONE SIMPLE FACT. PLEASE FOR GOODNESS SAKE DONT TOLERATE THIS CANCER KHANDAN'S NO MORE.

Because the military isn't the all powerful diety its projected as. I think the misrepresentation has served all those in power as well as the military leadership.
The problem is simple our people are idiots

They have this view that the military are all powerful and can pull the strings of EVERY one and everything

So if judiciary let's someone go it's really the all powerful military and establishment

If a politician gets elected it's really the all powerful military

ITS NOT, our people are fools

PAKISTAN is a dysfunctional democracy, it has many poles of power

The judiciary is a power unto itself

Our political parties are powers with millions of supporters and provincial hegemons

Lawyers
Business communication
Mafia's in all industry

The reality is the military just makes up one of these poles of power and it just gets saddled with the image of the all powerful selector behind everything, when it reality it struggles with the shitshow this country is capable of

This is why the judiciary is so useless when it comes to Pakistani interests, opposition corrupt dynasties and politicians, idiots like.PTM

those retards think they are sitting in Switzerland
So rather then defend PAKISTAN they feverishly hold unto this idea of judicial independence when in reality they owe their allegiances to the myriad of political parties in the land
The military has little power of the judiciary

Yhe same goes for Police

Our politicians are untouchable, we have to punch and move on a constant basis and they can strike back
they have millions of idiots as followers so.even if they steal and thiev they get treated as kings

our military has no control and the relationship is symbiotic, the military needs there support when they are in power so it can carry out the defence of the state

One of our worst periods was under PPP in late 2008-2012 period because the PPP simply pushed back against the military and every plan
Our procurement etc went down to.a trickle and we struggled with JF17 and AK projects

Simply military moving in and killing these people would cause chaos as well as international condemnation

compared to a shithole like.india, we are actually alot more independently minded but it's causing us problems because no one cares about NATIONAL INTERESTS

look at some of our media
openly mocking PAKISTAN if it fails at FATf or something because IK is.PM at the moment

our military can't even take care of a few media reporters BECAUSE they are not all powerful In PAKISTAN

the REAL power is the PEOPLE
Yes yes yes I know, those idiots

But if the people really united, got together and said we will as a mass go after the corrupts, judiciary, media, reporters they would stand no chance

We could make and break any politicianor political parties

but we don't because we are a divided bunch of idiots many of who see those corrupt looters as kings

Over the years this is the conclusion I've come too. Think about it...

Our enemies run rampant, internal and external. They've bought politicians, they have spies in local law enforcement even. I think there were reports of half a dozen foreign agencies operating in Pakistan at one point. We have limited curb on the militants, even today nearly 20 years on our actions against them are re-actionary no proactive.

  • I think it suits our politicians to have a bogey man - the big bad armed forces. Anything important they don't want to do, they can blame on an invisible establishment.

  • I think it suits our armed forces to have that reputation, nobody challenges their decisions. If anyone does they can use the threat alone to veer people away. When people call their bluff like Nawaz Sharif/Altaf Hussain - they can't do anything against these sorts of traitors.

  • I think there has been clear muk muka between army and politicians. You don't mess with our budget and autonomy and we won't mess with you.
