There was talks about changing the command structure of Bangladesh army which will reorganize Bangladesh army into three command, western, central and eastern command and will divide our army into three corps instead of current division level formation. But we are not hearing anything about it for the last 3-4 years. Is this plan proceeding or stalled?

More important is getting rid of this Indian stooge Army Chief from a criminal family, Aziz Ahmed. I don't know how he is still hanging on, as more than two thirds of Army command are reportedly not in favor of serving under this guy.

He has also gotten into hot water with Armed Forces adviser Siddiq (Sheikh Rehana's brother in law). Time to clean house and for Aziz to go.

Frankly, this is unnecessary.
The country is geographically quite small. The AHQ can manage all theatres quite easily.

During war, the AHQ can mobilse field units (infantry brigades, artillery regiments, etc..) from one local Area Command to another as necessary to repel the enemy

Introducing regional commands would add unnecessary layers of bureaucracy: money that would be better spent improving troop mobility (IFVs, riverine attack crafts, transport jets, medium/heavy lift helicopters, battlefield management and command systems, etc..).

At present, every GOC concurrently serves as the local Area Commander responsible for managing all available local resources (including police, BGB, Ansar, etc..) during war.

The whole bangladesh should be reorganize, from the government to armed forces to the cities. Even the people cant organize/decorate their house properly.
