While you are in the mood to indulge me, let me ask something else. The broad perception in India is that IK was not duly elected on people support. He was supposedly 'selected' by the establishment that you speak of.

Do average Pakistanis believe so?
They believe that he was elected by the majority but it was due to the backing of the ethablishment. They really invested in him and pushed him. The reason the ethablishment is into him is quite easy to understand due to meritocracy because he is the most capable at this point in time unlike the extremely incomptent element like Zardari etc etc. The reason the Ethablishment views him capable is because they are on the exact same wavelength and share the same politics which is forwarding pakistan exlusively whereas elements like Zardari or Nawaz had alot of corruptions and they just were not natural born leaders and our enemies didn't even respect us as much as they do now with Imran Khan at the helm. He brings prestige, respect and causes the enemies to fear Pakistan this is what the ethablishment seeks and this is what Imran Khan provides.. The Ethablishment will do everything in there power to not allow elements like Zardari or Nawaz figures to return to power it can be risky for Pakistan's long term interests. They would rather bring other similar characters to Imran Khan ones he finishes his 2 terms from other provinces like Punjab, KPK or Sindh in rotation but the key point is meritocracy here.

Example you could see something like a double team headed by Faiz Hameed the former ISI chief as the COAS and with Qureshi as the PM taking office in 2028 once Imran Khan finishes his 2 terms and Faiz Hameed obviously replacing Bajwa

Judges beuacrats generals are afterall..all from central punjab
Only 4-5% of the Army officers belong to Central Punjab. Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum (North Punjab) had traditionally been central recruitment grounds for the Army, but now that too has changed

The current Chief Justice of Lahore High Court as well as the previous one are from Multan Division i.e, South Punjab

Punjab's quota in Civil Services is 50% ... 32% (of Punjab's total quota) has been reserved for 3 South Punjab Divisions

Your tirade (against Central Punjab) is misdirected

While people in south punjab havent seen a car in 1998 ..we had 1b$ motor way from lahore to islamabad in 1998..(3% of our GDP in 1998)

Not even china had motorways then

Shows how great my leader was in the 1990s
The First one almost bypassed central punjab so whats the point? Did we go on a bombing run against the rest of the country? It's the central punjab which provides a lions share vis a vis foreign remmitances and pays it bills on time while also sharing line lossess of regions who think they are doing a favour by staying in the federation . But you gonna still remain angry they didn't vote overwhelmingly for a duffer .

If that idiot had bit if a politcal acumen he wouldn't be calling out streets thugs with the tribal titles like gullo butto'n which he kept on repeating and by doing so he successfully repelled the central punjab urban base largely composed of Kashmiris

Why did the establishment invest in these two idiots and their parties knowing fully well their atrocious record from the 90's?

Between lahore and pindi there's a barren land . As rural punjbai we go to lahore or pindi for quality education and still manage to outclass the rest but are deprived for the sake of a qouta seeker even though we secure the top numbers. And they still can't fill their qouta seats the gap is widening so much so that govt is planning for a special syllabus. Wth? Why not raise the quality of your institutes? Does it require a nuclear plant, billjins of dollars or cpec to make local degree colleges churn out decent educators?

brainwashed
having debated so many yadri de ماجے گامے چھیدے they are jahil by choice. vast majority are just dheet. they are in it for the chaska and its genetic as well in the sub continent. the appeal of moohdhi party is in the tabloid nature of it. just like we have tabloid sensationalist newspapers in Britain. which is nothing more gutter press and it kills brain cells too but they are the most read papers.

diplomats are representative of their governments they should only meet government officials/representatives of the host country. These meetings with criminal politicians are only to create chaos in the country and undermine the government. these kinds of meetings must be banned.

All that gaudy opulence of their palatial estate must make the noora clan think they are impressing their American masters, when the former's disgust and contempt only increases for their slaves.

Is the US trying to engineer a regime change now?

I know Pakistan probably has higher standards of living because of accumulated wealth, but I'd be ashamed as a "politician of the people", showing off so many trinkets collected because of privilege in a supposed 'Business meeting". A little gaudy and ostentatious, if you ask me.

In any case - this is for Pakistanis to judge, not an outsider like me.
