I have heard about this quite a few times from others (I never had to take that route myself thankfully).

Desi - workers in general can be quite uncouth, ill-mannered and rude sometimes. My Bangladeshi friend often calls them as "straight from the paddies".

Not only the attendants and stewardesses, go to the streets, you will find many of our people are paddy boys and girls who lack decency and do not talk nicely. It is a vulgar culture. So, whoever among us take those jobs just do not know how to talk and behave.
