I'm skeptical of the chances of success of this plan; however that being said: if China is able to pull this off, this will be a massive increase in China's prestige and a colossal Humiliation of the Biden Administration on the world stage.

A peaceful settlement of the conflict is long overdue, Russia and Ukraine both need to count their losses and stop this unnecessary bloodshed. If China is able to pull this off it is going to reverse decades of western geopolitical engineering and is going to be a slap on their faces. I hope sanity finally prevails.
