U.N. says it has credible reports that China holds million Uighurs in secret camps

even though it was simply an US ambassador Gay mcdowell talking about the genocide based on zenz report before UN ,it's like chinese ambassador talking about UN human rights to the UN.

Well done to the Sultan Erdogan

More than 40,000 Uighurs are living in Istanbul and they have their own cultural school and languages to ensure future generations remember what happened

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Turkey raised the issue of Uighur Muslims during talks with China’s foreign minister in Ankara on Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, as hundreds of Uighurs protested against the treatment of their ethnic kin in China.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Cavusoglu and later President Tayyip Erdogan, as around 1,000 protesters gathered in Istanbul, chanting “Dictator China” and “Stop Uighur Genocide, Close the Camps”. Some waved blue-and-white flags of the independence movement of East Turkestan, the name by which the movement refers to Xinjiang.

“We are here to ask about our families. Why can’t we get in touch with our families? Are they dead or alive? Where are they? Are they at camps or outside?” said Imam Hasan Ozturk, a Uighur protester.

China approved an extradition treaty with Turkey in December and with the deal awaiting ratification by Ankara’s parliament, activists among some 40,000 Uighurs living in Turkey have stepped up efforts to highlight their plight, holding regular protests in Ankara and Istanbul.

Cavusoglu, who has denied that the extradition accord would lead to Uighurs being sent back to China, said after meeting Wang he had conveyed “our sensitivity and thoughts on Uighur Turks”, adding that Ankara and Beijing would enhance cooperation against the COVID-19 pandemic and on vaccines.

Uighurs’ worries have been fuelled by Ankara’s dependence on China for COVID-19 vaccines, having received 15 million doses from Sinovac Biotech and ordered tens of millions more. This week, Turkey received 1.4 million doses of the vaccine developed by Germany’s BioNTech, the first significant batch of non-Chinese vaccines.

U.N. experts estimate at least a million Uighurs and other Muslims are held in detention centres in northwest China’s Xinjiang. The United States said in January China has committed “genocide and crimes against humanity” by repressing Uighurs.
China denies accusations of abuses in Xinjiang, and has said the complexes it set up in the region provided vocational training to help stamp out Islamist extremism and separatism.

A Chinese embassy spokesperson said last month that Uighurs who have been holding regular protests near China’s diplomatic premises in Turkey in recent months were trying to deceive Turkish people and damage relations.

Before you jumping up and down over this typical reuter report. Where did it ever mention Turkish minister talk to China about Uyghur problem? Any sane human being will know, if Turkey are receiving Chinese minister and they decide to tell off Chinese over this fake news. The foreign minister of China will simply walk off from this visit.

Erdogan is not stupid to destroy all his effort to rode in China help after getting slap from US, Russia and EU. Erdogan knows he cant fight all the tiger at the same time. Turkey is even in a more desperate situation compare to China vs EU/US.

Turkish president pledges to build closer ties, deepen cooperation with China
Updated: Mar 26,2021 09:12 AM Xinhua
ANKARA — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on March 25 met with visiting Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, pledging to build closer ties with China and deepen bilateral cooperation.

Congratulating the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the 100th anniversary of its founding, Erdogan said the Justice and Development Party, the ruling party of Turkey, looks forward to enhancing its communication with the CPC and contributing to the cooperation among the political parties around the world.

Turkey attaches great importance to developing its relations with China, the Turkish leader said, stressing that his country is firmly against any form of terrorism and hopes to build closer ties with China.

By publicly getting the jab of China-developed COVID-19 vaccine, he has shown to Turkish citizens as well as the whole world the safety and effectiveness of the Chinese vaccine, said Erdogan, adding that Turkey wants to deepen its vaccine cooperation with China and explore the potential of conducting such cooperation with a third party.

Turkey looks forward to increasing Turkey-China high-level exchanges, boosting mutual trust, promoting the synergy between China's Belt and Road Initiative and Turkey's "Middle Corridor" plan, enhancing cooperation in the fields including interconnection and intercommunication, infrastructure construction and investment, seeking more balanced development of bilateral trade, and encouraging local currency settlement, said the Turkish president.

He added that Turkey values China's five-point initiative for achieving the security and stability in the Middle East and is willing to deepen communication and coordination with China on regional affairs.

Wang conveyed the greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping to Erdogan.

He told the Turkish leader that China has found a development path that fits its own conditions and is now opening up the new journey to comprehensively building a modern socialist country.

China is willing to share its experience in state governance and deepen friendly cooperation with Turkey, said the Chinese diplomat.

Marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two nations, China is ready to make joint efforts with Turkey to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of the two states, and take the bilateral ties onto a track of healthy and stable development, Wang said.

He highlighted the need for the two countries to continue to understand and support each other on the issues related to core interests, and insist on not interfering in each other's domestic affairs.

Wang pledged to continue China's help to Turkey in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

He added that, in the context of deepening the synergy between China's Belt and Road Initiative and Turkey's "Middle Corridor" plan, the two nations should strengthen cooperation in the high tech sectors including 5G technology, artificial intelligence, big data and digital economy, and steadily push forward cooperation on major projects to seek win-win results.

Wang promised that China will encourage more Chinese enterprises to import quality products from Turkey and increase their investment in Turkey.

As two important emerging economies, China and Turkey should solidify their unity and cooperate on deepening party communications, safeguarding the development rights of each other, and protecting the common interests of the developing countries, said the Chinese diplomat.

Earlier on March 25, Wang met with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Jakarta. Indonesia has been actively communicating with China on Uighur issues to raise concern about freedom of religion among the Muslim-majority ethnic group in China's westernmost Xinjiang province, Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said on Friday.

The Indonesian government and moderate Islamic groups like Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah have been in the spotlights in the past weeks for their perceived silence over alleged persecution against the Uighur ethnic group.

Retno said she met with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Dec. 16 and Chinese Ambassador for Indonesia Xiao Qian on Monday.

“We have been communicating continuously with the Chinese government to express and request information regarding the situation,” Retno said after attending a meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs’ compound in Central Jakarta.

She said Indonesia is actively engaging diplomatic measures on the issue.

“We had a pretty long talk with the [Chinese] foreign minister, and we stressed about the importance of freedom of religion. So, it’s not true that we are not doing anything, check our social media record,” Retno said.

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD said earlier that Indonesia will not intervene in China’s inernal affairs.

“Soft diplomacy means we do not intervene. We summoned the ambassador, that’s soft diplomacy,” Mahfud said in Jakarta on Wednesday.

On Friday afternoon, thousands of Islamic protesters including members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) staged a ralli in front of the Chinese Embassy on Jalan Rasuna Said, Jakarta.

The protesters accused the Chinese government for prohibiting the Uighur Muslims from performing prayers. They also called for a boycott on Chinese products.

The Chinese government has repeatedly denied oppressing the Muslim minority in Xinjiang, saying that the media had exaggerated reports on the Uighur ethnic group.

In a meeting with a group of Indonesian media chief editors in Urumqi, Xinjiang, last month, Deputy Governor Arken Tuniyazi alleged that foreigners had no accurate knowledge about situations in the province.

"The ones who know best the size of our shoes are us," Arken said.

Arken said the Chinese government doesn’t ban its citizens from observing their religions and faiths, but stern measures were needed to counter terrorism and radicalism.

Turkey believes or does not believe the American media on the Xinjiang issue, which makes no sense,

If China is weak, Turkey will use the Xinjiang issue as an excuse to attack China. They will plunder, burn, slaughter and genocide China

But China is very strong now, so Turkey will try to avoid acts that directly provoke China. This lying relationship will last long if China is always stronger and Turkey is weaker

So Turkey and other countries love or hate China, it doesn't matter. China needs enough strength to defend itself. The weak are always wrong, the strong don't care about the barking dogs

Patience my friend! End of the day, the western dominate this global for 2 century. It will also take time eradicate this poison. The western system are failing them, democracy is a drag instead of bonus for them. western politician spend more time fighting for vote and make popular decision rather than rational decision for their countries.

The western societies has reduced to need use low life move of using fake news try slow China progress ,more or less western system lack competitiveness against productive and efficient Chinese system. Its a matter of short time, they will crumble.
