Just saying, Elbit has done 800 million dollar worth of contracts within a day.

But good for Turkey.

I give you an example Tai made a contract within one day for 1.5 billion dollar for attack helicopters for Pakistan but US refused to supply engines. Now imagine when our helicopter engines are ready we'll make such contracts like Elbit too.

Same happenend with howitzers for Azerbaijan huge contract was cancelled because Germany refused to supply engines Turkiye is working on tank engines aswell.

What do you doubt about most of your strategic weapons such as Arrow ads are made with cooperation from US. You get F16's and you're the only country allowed to use own software and your own weapons on it getting the sourcecodes same story with F35.

More examples like that
Co-development =/= being given blueprints. The US is not a sucker, the reason the US is co-developing with Israeli engineers is because they believe the end result will be better than to develop those systems by themselves.

Israel is given the ability to modify American weapons because Israel improves upon them and sends the information back to the US, at 0 cost, saving them tens or hundreds of billions of dollars in research, as it already did in the past.

People simply can not realise that there is no such thing as ToT in full extent, true they give from time to time some chips to incentivise commercial deals but for example i never heard of transfer some core technologies like in metalurgy, chemistry, electronics..., without that base you can not gain much from usual ToT and will be always dependant on more advanced "partners".

They will learn the hard way so thats why Turkey should stay away from that Middle East countries, as an example laser proximity fuze was first from Germany. After Ambargo our HISAR delayed, in the end Turkish industy made the laser proximity fuze so ther is no foreigner companies anymore in the HISAR project.

So they make everything except whats shown in the propganda picture i sent
How is that a 93% domestic production?

You've convinced me that you're not really having a bona fide discussion. You don'tspend two minutes using the forum search function; and you want a link from me. However, by not clicking the link, you are still waiting for an answer from me. Here is the message in the link I gave. You were in that discussion too, that day.

In such forums, people should feel the need to research 2 minutes for propaganda posters they find on facebook.

As of March 2021, the domestic rate is 93%.
It is one of the world's highest locality rate in the tactical class. But what is really important? Operational success. That is the real issue.

(The design of the system has been shaped by owner country's specific operational needs and experience, and this UAV is just one sub-element of a whole doctrine. If there is no domestic talent to do this, it will not be a product tailored to your needs, you have to buy whatever product is on sale in the international market. And it will not contribute to your local industry, on top of that you will be indebted to the selling country and perhaps make political concessions.)

If you do not know Armenian:
Its design, software, all critical components are national!
The tire is Petlas, not Beringer...
IMU is not Grumman LN200, Baykar...
Data link, not ViaSat, Baykar...
Oil, not AeroShell, Turkish Petroleum...

You can examine the avionics hardware from the table below.
selcuk-bayraktar-dan-tb2-siha-aciklamasi-kendi-sinifinda-dunyanin-en-iyisi.jpg

Finally, with the Aselsan CATS system, there is nothing left to localize of critical importance for tactical UAVs. The reason for using Wescam in the first place was the weight difference and the stocked Wescam cams(product use on the shelf) delayed this need. When Canada blocked the additional import of this product, the necessary modification was made for Aselsan CATS and we thank Canada for this. Not considering the PD-170 integration is that it is an overpowered turbodiesel for this tactical class.

Let's start with the TB2's predecessor, the Çaldıran/ TB-1, this tactical UAV family has over 10 years of flight experience. The armed forces of nearly 10 countries have over 400,000 hours of flight time. Its operational success has now become an academic field of study and respected by the whole world. Its best combat proven system in its class as of now. For the next four to five years the order book is full and the company is already focused on the TB-3.

Never mind the nearly 300 TB-2s ever produced. Even the number of TB-2 ordered for the upcoming period is probably more than Egypt's total operational Tactical and Male UAVs.

I really don't understand why such a comparison is made. Egyptians should be proud of the developments in the Turkish defense industry. Because the Turkish people in general, for example, are proud of the developments in the UAE and KSA. Political disagreements are temporary. The technological achievements of each of our countries are for our common good in the long run.

But good for Turkey.

Look if an Israeli or American criticizes Turkish defence industry i will still respect their opinions because of the fact US have greatest defence industry in the world. But here we have a Danish person who belittles Turkish drones. I would like to ask what defence equipment does Denmark produce. They are all E.U. funded and supported still there is no Danish company nowhere to be seen on the top 100 defence companies in the world. Meanwhile there are 7 Turkish def companies in the top 100.

We should treat them like you do, second degree and money can not buy everything. Sell them ships with no EW/ECM or VLS like they sell ships to Egypt, F15 downgraded, F16 with no BVR, Germany sell them outdated Submarine 209 MOD subs and they are happy with it lol.

In the other hand our leaders want to share technology and make them partner. Not worth it.

You guys start to sound like Russia. Youre the victem now. Outsiders are jealous, they want to destroy us.
Authoritarian countries always need an external enemy to blame. I guess “the West” is an easy target.

If other countries support armed separatist organistations in your own country to fak your countries territorial integrity tyring to carve up your country by supplying weapons and transferring money then yeah i would not blame Turkiye for speaking this out.

Not armed way Turkiye wants to solve this issue through dialogue and negotiations. Turkiye tried its best to mediate for peace between Israel and Palestinians but Israel cancelled the talks and started to bomb Palestianians again. Turkiye wants peace and cooperation between Arabs and Jews this is in the interest of whole region

Not really criticizing it. Turkish engineers seem capable, dick measuring competitions are useless.

Simply because i dont remember you posting that
And ive read your post and my question hasnt been answered and i dont expect an answer
Why develop your own systems while its cheaper to import and theyre more efficent? especially when said exporters are allies

Personally, I am very positive about cooperation with Egypt in the future. Current disagreements are political, not strategic. There are also many positive developments such as the solution of the Qatar problem, Restoration of relations with the UAE, and the failed coup attempt in Libya and re-entering the democratic process there again.

Egypt is a big country of 100 million and due to its geopolitical conditions, they have to manage important risks that cannot reduce military purchases. First of all, it should have an absolute deterrent on Israel. Maybe TR can create an alternative channel for Egypt independent from Europe/US to support Egypt in accelerating some spesific areas.

This was about to happen with Mursi in power but they removed him for this reason. The current leadership doesn't care about Egyptian interest he just wants to appease France and other countried to secure his seat.

That sisi reminds me of the clown Ekrem Imamoğlu he will act same if he becomes President.
