The posters calling TLP a criminal or terrorist entity based on what they did or court writings...lets just remind everyone that PTI attacked govt buildings and Hafiz Saeed is a terrorist today who had the full backing of the Armed Forces for 30 years. So lets not throw around words that have little to no meaning in Pakistan.

Furthermore, a party like TLP is possible only bc parties like PMLN and PTI and PPP are largely elite aloof liberal clubs. PTI less so perhpas. Can any minister of state quote Allamah Iqbal like Rizvi could? Was he not correct when he made fun of the PPP clowns who couldn’t even recite Surah Ikhlas. Don’t be mad at TLP be and at the clowns who allowed for space for such a hardline party to exist.

Apart from people directly employed by corporations like PPP and PMLn, very few people vote in Pakistan.

Pakistan runs on symbolic democracy and we should not be afraid to admit it.

TLP has less religious rhetoric than PTi with her Ryasat Madina dogma with 80 percent of the party formed by members of PPP and PMLQ as your Tea Party.

Pakistan's demise into extremism is exemplified by sheer joy expressed at deaths of their fellow countrymen.

TLP is the last patriotic nationalist option for the stakeholders.
All Garbage! Perhaps you said in jest, right?
PPP and PMLN combined get tens of millions of votes. No corporation can directly employ such voters. You live in UK and yet you are so ignorant of the basics of democracy.
No, Imran Khan's Riyasat Medina is an idealism which, honestly, is not attainable in Pakistan unless Pakistan was a small country the size of Medina of 6th century AD. Also, there is no comparison with Imran Khan's idealism, which is still steered by pragmatic capitalist policies vs that of the HARAMKHORS like Rizvi with his band of fanatics who don't even believe in this Earthly life. I'd take an Imran Khan a thousand time over the likes of one Rizvi.
But then I think you were joking in your quoted post above. If not-- GTFO from Britain-- enough of the already notoriously radicalized Pakistanis there bring more bad name to Pakistan.

And suicide bombers have the strongest backbone in the world!! Imagine blowing yourself up--ending all what was before you and what is you now and what you might be in the future. And often for a paltry $10,000 on the payroll of either domestic terrorists or foreign funded intelligence agencies.

BTW, what are 'all those votes'. 2 .1 million in a country of 210 MILLION??

This Rizvi guy was an imposter, a rabble rouser, and a semi literate joke. The ONLY reason his violent political party is not banned is that because his fanatic followers are not shy of blowing themselves up for their 'cause' (and some $$ would be bonus to support their families). After all, as our member @Imran Khan recently said: Why bother about this world which is a mirage anyway, when there is the 'real' life after death. But these Munafiqs are not shy to take $$ to blow themselves up, to go to other countries with their pathetic mindsets, and to hurt the country which gave them the freedom and resources to live and speak their UGLY minds.

I bet if Pakistan was not facing so many threats from outside then the Pakistani security forces would smash these Haramkhors into a pulp!!! These kinds of idiots are perfect tool for Pakistan's external enemies. HARAMKHORS!!

Difference between Niazi and Allama Rizvi was clear.

A man of compromise versus a man of iron will.

As far as your support for worldly matters is concerned, PM Niazi says only the grave can give peace.

The only fanatics roaming free are just mob masquerading as political party known as PTI.

Is he having 500 kanals house?
Is his son having a Ferrari?
Is he living in London?
Does he owe commercial plots in Bahria/DHA?
Did he admission his children in US/UK?
Is he having 100 of branches of Papa John's???

He was having 7.5 Million PKR in his lap while sitting in faizabad and check his life style! He was living in a house on rent!!!

Suicide bombing is just another form of warfare. If you're against warfare then will you also argue that Pakistan abandon nukes??

And I have yet to see any evidence that TLP endorsed any suicide bombers. And I also have yet to see evidence of all the accusations you and others on PDF have against TLP. And please don't provide fake media reports.

Like I said before, 2.1M votes and tens of millions of sympathizers is enough support. PDF isn't a litmus test for on the ground reality. Pakistan is. The amount of folks that attended this guys janaza is more than enough to show how much support and legitimacy this guy has.
It's sad that all the opportunities to broaden your intellectual horizons in America have not been availed and thus you say idiotic things like above. Get away from America. Your kind only brings bad name to Pakistan!!! Supporters of fanatics and Jahils should never be allowed to reach the West because they are the CANNON FODDERS for Pakistan's enemies!!

You are comparing a suicide bomber who can be hired randomly versus a country's strategic policies???
About TLP--the HARAMKHOR Rizvi and his followers are on plenty of videos to blatantly claim that they would rather die then end their Dharnas. AND HARAMKHOR Rizvi's follower like Mumtaz Qadri killed Governor Taseer in broad daylight and M. Qadri is a 'hero' or a 'martyr'. What more evidence you need????

About the vote count--of course you would ignore the paltry 2.1 million vote out of a population of 210 million. Because you have no legs to stand on you grasp at the straws.

Clearly, a whopping less than 1% of Pakistanis voting for him shows that half of Pakistanis sympathize with him.
Aptly put.
"Half' of 210 million Pakistanis!! Haha!! The most popular leader in Pakistan was ZAB and his party's popular vote in either 1971 or 1977 or 1988 or 2008--all when the PPP won-- never exceeded 40% in any of the Pakistani elections.
Rizvi is going to be a footnote in Pakistan's history, at best.

49.48 million citizens voted in the 2018 !
Why don't you compare TLP (4th biggest party excluding MMA which was a mixture) votes with world population? 7.5 billion vs 2.2 million?

OMG, this is so funny!! I am literally LOL'ing!!
Rizvi will be a forgotten figure in Pakistan's history or if his name will ever come up, say 50 years later, it will be for violence, foul language, bigotry, illiteracy.

Care to tell me where I insulted someone and made a personal attack??

I have seen others including those liking your above post doing the same thing and much worse in this and other threads. I don't see their posts being deleted...

Also, I don't know if you can do math. But the percentage comes out to 1.1% (the conservative value...) and million more followers who came out in the streets and for the janaza. You can judge his popularity by the fact of how a overseas Pakistani is kicking the door on so called educated Pakistanis with facts. So much so that a mod had to step in and try to delete my posts rather than give me a warning.

Please share facebook filth in the meme section.....adults are talking here.

going with this logic, Mr. Imran Khan got around 7-8% Pakistanis voting for him.

Actually parties like TLP and other religious parties have relied on street power as a show of support amongst 'All of Pakistan'. They have repeatedly relied on this and have declared the street power as the voice of the people and the decision of the people rather than the election because there are two things that we must always consider. The election sphere in Pakistan is extremely competitive and is dominated by factors that rely on links other than Islamism. The second thing is that the Islamic sphere is also extremely competitive with various old-guard moulvis and new generations fighting it out for influence and control over the set religious vote.

TLP used a very sensitive issue to gain a space amongst the religious vote and by doing so, it actually took the voting circles of various other religious parties however it was not the first to do this. To truly understand the rise of TLP, we must compare the actions of two preachers who used this sensitive issue to gain political sphere and one was Syed attaullah Shah Bhukhari for Ilm Ud Din and Hanif Qureshi for Qadri and how Rizvi used this to create a political movement. If you are interested then i suggest reading into these two as a good case study and while you are at it also peruse the Nagina;s account on Ilm Ud Din and Then Mateen's Account on Ilm Ud Din and notice the growing difference in the biography.

Their inability to influence the election actually forces them to utilize street power and excuses like funeral attendances are used as a display of how the populace supports us entirely, so what happens when they say this? Well the next sentence is the reason behind their absence in the elections. If the entire populace supports us and protests with us then why do we lose the elections? Their supporters ask this question and the answer they receive is that there exists a conspiracy to keep them down. They utilize the growing class difference and elite chasm in Pakistan, by declaring them as the reason behind their poor showing in elections that they are rigging it against them. Most, if not all, TLP supporters or Islamic political party supporters, i have met, have carried this expression that the ruling power is fighting against them and keeping them back at the behest of foreign powers so that Pakistan cannot become the citadel of Islam, it was promised to be. In their eyes, all elections are wrong. TLP supporters were throwing around a fake image of ARY news channel where it was photoshopped that they had won 40 seats during election day 2018 and many to this day have grievance that they actually won somewhere between 40-60 seats but it was snatched from them since the military and political elite is against Islam. This ofcourse creates a siege mentality that they are always targeted. One of the reasons why they declare that islam is in danger in Pakistan is because they see themselves surrounded and in danger by the state rather than see themselves as part of the state thus this leads to rioting and destruction whenever they protest. For them the Pakistani elite is no different than a foreign power. Ofcourse this leads to lawlessness and when i say lawlessness, i dont mean lack of legal code but lack of respect for law and this is a growing phenomenon in Pakistan but that is a topic for another time.

In the end the supporters of TLP will make the claims you witness here. I have seen their claims become all the more ridiculous by the day. The barelvi Sect was always based on Sufi mysticism so elements of Sufi mysticism is also part of this like in 2017, there is prevalent belief, amongst their supporters that when the government cracked down upon them and where about to approach at rizvi, who was surrounded by the dead bodies of his followers, that a wind came and threw the paramilitary away and surrounded them and protected them. This was recited to me as a miracle and if you visit the grave of Qadri, this incident would be recounted to you as well by the people present there.

Anyhow the elections remain and will always remain as the best indicator of the will of the people and as they are held more, the stronger the elections will become. If Pakistan supports TLP, then they would win the elections. Frankly i have stopped arguing with drones since more often than not, it will bring no increase to your knowledge and if you argue too much, you may end up getting a fatwa against you.

"you seem like one of the terrorist buddhists bent on killing Muslims. You're a abomination for the whole world."

Next time raise it in the GHQ. Won't entertain complaints here again.

I have seen others including those liking your above post doing the same thing and much worse in this and other threads. I don't see their posts being deleted...
You don't get to see most of what goes on in moderation. Neither do you need to.

Report those posts next time.

Also, I don't know if you can do math. But the percentage comes out to 1.1% (the conservative value...)
(2.1 million / 212.2 million (2018)) * 100 = 0.9868%.

and million more followers who came out in the streets and for the janaza.
Yeah....millions!

"Police told AFP that about 300,000 people had attended the event, though organisers claimed the number was much higher".

"Tens of thousands of men have gathered in Lahore for the funeral of hardline Pakistani cleric Khadim Hussain Rizvi"

"Tens of thousands of mourners attended the funeral of a hardline Pakistani cleric in the eastern city of Lahore on Saturday"

"Tens of thousands of mourners attended the funeral"

"Tens of thousands of maskless Islamist supporters gathered in Lahore "

"Thousands attended the funeral prayers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Labaik chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi"

"Thousands of people gathered at the site to attend the funeral prayers"

"Tens of thousands of mourners"

You can judge his popularity by the fact of how a overseas Pakistani is kicking the door on so called educated Pakistanis with facts.
"Overseas Pakistani"....weird flex, bud.

Regardless, I didn't see any facts. Only childish statements on how to incorrectly calculate percentages and count people.

So much so that a mod had to step in and try to delete my posts rather than give me a warning.
Post deletion is used as a favor to the poster. If you want warnings then I'd be more than happy to oblige.

Ah yes, important math. Like,

"The party’s candidates placed third in 62 NA constituencies in Punjab".....

"Out of 141 NA seats in Punjab, the TLP fielded candidates in 121 constituencies; this is astonishing for a party of its size and experience"......especially astonishing since it doesn't take anything to field a candidate.

"The TLP fielded 262 candidates — surprisingly, nine of them women — out of 297 constituencies for the Punjab Assembly. A TLP candidate stood runner-up in PP-71, Hafizabad-III."

All immensely useful criteria to judge the elections by. Unlike the facts that TLP won zero seats in the NA and 2 in the Sindh assembly. That's a (2/571)*100 = 0.35% success rate. Did I do the math right?

@Kambojaric or was it you who deleted my posts??

I'll be keeping an eye on you, the duo, from now on. :D
Consider us both intimidated.
