Many may get confused hearing all the glittering news; why Bangladesh needs a transition? Perhaps this interview will show, why and what transition Bangladesh needs.

Jokes aside, just finished reading this article in bangla. Pinaky has some good points here you saw ?

Doesn't matter if AL is Indian stooge or not , we are observing the country's situation. I don't think BNP will return again .

But you see the massive protest against govt several times by students and now they are becoming mature and trying to establish a political entity named ," Gano odhikar porishod" .

They are appealing for money from public in Facebook , they are neither rich nor corrupted .

So I believe people will buy their idea . And what if some party rise and public becomes their patron ( at list partly ) , do you not think that the political line of Bangladesh is going to change in future forever ?

At least family system will no longer available in Bangladesh that will be a blessing for us.

BNP has gone already , now in near future it's time for BAL .

So could it be a new dawn for Bangladeshi politics under some new Bhasani type majlum leaders?

@DalalErMaNodi
I just wonder what will happen to BAL if this happens. I want to see some wipe out, they have done excess.

Same here , but not with Hasina in power . If Hasina retire after this term or after one more term , then I also want BAL to be annihilated like BNP .

Bangladesh itself is far bigger entity than some political parties , and we love and we belong to our motherland Bangladesh , and not with any political thug parties.

Personally I want a wipe out of every single dynasty including the Zia dynasty. There are also other smaller dynasties of ex-ministers, MPs etc. Wipe out all.

If such a wipe out is possible I will be happy with a China style one party government (if they are honest and efficient.)

I am also a huge fan of China type one party govt . But TBH it looks utopian in our standard. Corruption rate is very high in Bangladesh and it's almost in everywhere.

Only if you can impose military dictatorship it shall be fine , but in modern world there is many problem in such ruling system.

So I would say military backed controller democracy would be the best thing .

Look BAL was doing very well in various sectors under Hasina .

But we see that they are crossing limits .

So now if it's possible to rise fee patriotic political party based on lower middle class people , and young people ( like VP Nur and his fellows ) and also you can control them from behind with military educated officers who are completely professional ( not some politician's favourite careerists like some of our military chiefs like Ershad or who later ended up joining various political parties ) , the I believe Bangladesh can see a new system of politics .

And IMHO , family system of politics is even worse than any kingdoms at past , so in 1991 Bangladesh actually entered the era of the family dynasty instead of a democracy system .

So demolition of such system can be our best achievement.

And with this controlled democracy , once maybe we will be achieved a pure one party system like China , that is as professional and dedicated like Chinese system .

I don't believe in military backed 'democracies'. There are examples of such in our neighborhood which are failures. China style one party system will only work if it is ideological, communist or Islamist.

But who will belt the cat ? You can't achieve such system overnight .

Specially let's say you have such honest force , can you make people believe that they are honest ?

There is no pure communist like China in Bangladesh .

Even Soviet failed ,and Bangladeshi CPB types are Indian stooges , other communists are just limited in seminars and has no acceptance in Bangladesh.

Now about Islamists. Is there any strong Islamists party in Bangladesh who are actually moderate in ruling like AKP ?

So from where you can get such thing ?

Lack of them doesn't justify military rule. Military is equally corrupt as politicians, yet even more brutal.

Among the Islamists Jamat is quite good TBH. But they have one problem which nullifies all their good.

Jamat doesn't have only one fault ,but they have many . They are not only war criminals , but also they hold disturbing ideology of bringing all ummah in one flag .

And also in 2013 - 2015 they worked as foot soldier of BNP and literally created anarchy . So they are out of question.

In pure Islamic ideology you can count Qawumis . Look at Islami andolon Bangladesh ,they are well organized and also honest .

But you can't bring them in power , at least not overnight. They are not as mature as AKP. It will take long time befor they can effectively rule .

Also you can't impose Sharia overnight in Bangladesh , now if you give them power ,they will impose strict form of Sharia , and country will go to astray.

AKP is returning turkey to pure Islam where women don't need to sit in home wearing Burkha and Niqab .

(I believe dirilis ertugrul TV serial is a standard of the Islamic rule that Erdogan is trying to introduce.

But even in this TV series , not all Muslim rulers are good.)

So if you can bring ideological parties in Bangladesh , you need AKP type and you need different line of thinking , with fatwabaaz maulanas of Bangladesh you can't even dream of it .

Still as I said Islamic andolon Bangladesh can be good , but you have to observe then at least 20 more years and then can rely on them.

So in this time ( 20 years or more ) who will rule Bangladesh .

Any suggestions?

What is it actually ? I have no idea about it. Please elaborate.
For Jamati's problems I was referring to their uncanny allegiance towards a certain country's military backed government. Their other problem is their irrational hatred of the Indians, Indians are not very likeable and we need to tread carefully but it should not be allowed to go in to irrational hatred territory.

All Islamists in the world have unified global ummah as their end goal, Jamatis are not an exception. However, it's a near impossibility. So in that struggle if some form of unity among the Muslims can be achieved it will be good. I think a NATO style alliance is plausible in the distant future.

Kamois are up to no good. They are illiterate, extremely backward and have zero political understanding, they are totally incompetent in managing the affairs of a modern state. I would like to see a total razing to the ground of the kaomi madrasa system.

I had no idea about Switzerland's democracy, had a quick read. That system is very appealing to me but I don't think such a system can work in BD. For that kind of a system to work you need knowledge based societies. BD is too primitive and uneducated, even the degree wala people are semi-educated.

I was not talking about all Qawumis though.

However for the rest of your post no disagreement. But NATO type alliance is for whole ummah.

I asked your opinion for the ruling system of Bangladesh ,since we have no other option than controlled democracy at this moment.
