Is he/she transgender or just transsexual. In the case of the latter, did he/she take hormone treatment?

I don't know whats the difference between transgender or transsexual (I always thaught they are the same) but if I'm not mistaken this f***ing man indeed did take hormone therapy so its legal for him to participate against biological woman, it's gonna be an absolute sh*t show.
She/he will obviously dominate the competition and this will encourage more XY people to identify as a woman to get the gold medal, very unfair to actual biological woman.
Its funny that now the XY people will dominate women's sport.

China's "Dream Team" diving squad launched their bid for a golden sweep at the Tokyo Olympics with a dominant victory in the women's synchronised 3m springboard final on Sunday.

Shi Tingmao, gold medallist in the event at Rio 2016, and Wang Han had been hot favourites on day one of diving at the coronavirus-delayed Games.

And the duo did not disappoint, leading from the first round on the way to taking the title with 326.40 points.

Canada's Jennifer Abel and Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu won silver (300.78 points), with Germany's Lena Hentschel and Tina Punzel earning bronze (284.97 points).

It continues a strong start to these Games for China, who enjoyed golden success on Saturday in shooting, fencing and weightlifting.

China underlined their vast supremacy in diving by winning seven of eight golds in Rio - Britain surprisingly nabbed the other.

But there are high hopes back home that the Chinese can go one better in the Japanese capital. (AFP)

Qian Yang of China celebrates after winning the gold medal in the women's 10-meter air rifle at the Asaka Shooting Range in the 2020 Summer Olympics on Saturday.

Alex Brandon/AP

The first gold medal of the Tokyo Olympics goes to Qian Yang from China, after the 21-year-old came out on top in the women's 10 meter air rifle competition.

Yang narrowly beat out Russia's Anastasiia Galashina and set an Olympic record. The bronze medal went to Swiss shooter Nina Christen.

Yang jubilantly held up her medal during the ceremony, along with a small bouquet of flowers. Due to coronavirus protocols, medals were passed to the winners on a tray and they placed them around their own necks. Usually, a dignitary would put the medals on the winners.

Mary Tucker from the U.S. took 6th place in the competition. The field was fairly open, with none of the medalists in this event from the 2016 Rio Games competing.

It was a disappointing day for the competitor from Norway. Jeanette Hegg broke an Olympic record during the qualification round, but ultimately finished fourth.

In the event, shooters stand 10 meters (almost 33 feet) from a stationary target and fire at it with an air rifle. In other shooting events, competitors use different kinds of firearms, fire from positions including kneeling or lying on the ground, shoot at targets from different distances, or take aim at moving targets.

congratulations :)
