I don't understand your comparison between the Iraqis loyal to Iran with the GCC.. they are mainly comparable to Houthis..
It was part of "Arabs are doing the wrong things all over the place".
Bombing Yemen for 5 years is a moronic thing that has turned Yemenis against the GCC, many have died there and a few acts of sharing aid serving as media propaganda don't change any of that. Not only that, they're destroying a fellow Arab country under the pretext of fighting Houthis, whilst not only it is an ineffective way (proven now by over 5 years).. it's mostly about showing muscle strength.
Netiher will any immediate major threat emerge from Yemen. The same cannot be said about Syria, where regional powers are currently carving up lands due to Arab mismanagement of the Syrian civil war. Where is the GCC to be seen there, nowhere. Same thing in Libya where regional powers are getting involved, GCC involvement is little to minimum. The UAE is not going to change a lot there as their manpower is little.
Back in 2011, some people called figures such as Bandar bin Sultan intelligent for his Syria campaign. Then there's the Saudi policy towards Post-2003 Iraq, ignoring the country as if it didn't exist.
In reality, Iran is now stronger in both Syria and Iraq than it was in 2011 due to these failed policies. You either don't see it, or you're just supporting whatever the GCC leaders do. This Yemen campaign is an even bigger mistake with no positive outcomes in sight.
Saudis and the UAE should invade Abu Musa instead, blow Tripoli clean and Egypt should roll into Tripoli. These animals are upsetting.
