The only worrying bit here is point 3, that the Taliban have not renounced Al Queda (apparently). I think the Taliban are well aware of the damage the foreign organisations caused their country, but Pakistan should work to make sure that the Taliban once in power abandon them altogether. We can do this by;

1. Making it a condition of our recognition.

2. Offering them the military support that these groups might.

3. Acting as an international partner of the new Afghan government and getting allies like China, KSA, UAE, Turkey, Qatar, Malaysia and Iran to recognise them and support them economically in an effort to re-build their nation.

The emerging shadow government of the Taliban has shown 1 thing, they are now more pragmatic and aware that the people need more than lectures about virtue to survive. They support the schools and hospitals setup by the Kabul regime, even in territory under their control.

We should focus on getting getting the Taliban focused on governance and getting them the financial and political support to do so. This way they will leave playing "Jihadis and kafirs" to someone else, not in Afghanistan.

No doubt we won't do any of this. It's far to much to expect the Pakistani ruling class to have foresight beyond the end of their nose.

TTP, Hizbul Mujahidden is entirely Pakistan's creation. Many of the Taliban residents are bonafide or legitimate citizens of Pakistan.
HeM is only involved in JnK ops, funny how you think it is a very potent organization. TTP is just another proxy outfit organized from radical elements deriving from the Mujahideen,
Afghan Taliban work for Pak
Pakistan Taliban work for NDS/RAW.

There is one good solution to fill gap after evacuation of foreign forces.

Two factors are important for peace in Durand line:

1: Taliban
2: Afghan civilian government.

Pakistan should do negotiation with these two stakeholders for peace in the region.

Taliban should be made revolutionary guard of Afghanistan on the pattern of IRG . Institutionalize Taliban and train and equip them just to secure Afghanistan .
Besides it , they should be given share in political system.

Militants will not stray if you make them disciplined and salaried force.

Rest of country should be given to pro-Pakistan Politicians of Afghanistan.

However ethnic division of Afghanistan will create unending territorial disputes within and out side of Afghanistan.

Taliban is animal Now, you just can’t talk with animal, remember our peaceful talk with Pakistan taliban in Swat, you can’t expect good from animals. Taliban are not same as before 2001, their thinking, mentality is changed, and their hate against Pakistan in every single drop of blood, because we pushed them away in fighting against terrorism, we killed their hundreds of leaders. If taliban government comes in Afghanistan they will take revenge due to our role against them and on war, with help of U.S.A & exchanging intelligence with NATO forces to hunt them.
It’s better to create relation with kerzai than taliban animals.
Both sides are animal their you have to support the animal which listens to you

It would be much easier for Pakistan to tame Afghan Taliban and provide them support against Daesh..

People should remember:

1 - Afghan Taliban are not same as TTP, which is now affiliated with ISIS/ Daesh.
2 - Daesh/ ISIS has support of Israel, India and US.
3 - There are clashes going on in different parts of Afghanistan between ISIS and Afghan Taliban.
4 - Weak Afghan Taliban mean strong Daesh, which eventually means strong TTP.
5 - Afghan Taliban are being approached by Indian to get the sympathies. Pakistan should keep them on its own side to hurt interests of Indians in Afghanistan.. Remember, Indians are trying to encircle Pakistan from at least three sides by increasing their influence in the governments..
6 - Indians have put a lot of money in Afghanistan, and they will now try to save it.. We must ensure that all investment is wasted
7 - We need closure of Indian embassies in Afghanistan.. This could only happen when NDS and RAW is neutralized in Afghanistan.. This is possible with the help of Afghan Taliban.
8 - CPEC is only secure when there is no RAW/ NDS/ TTP/ DAESH and BLA planning freely against it in Afghanistan..

They are mad dog, we will get nothing by throwing bones on them, they will bite us and make us mad too.
Our Afghan Border was most peaceful when Taliban were ruling them so we have got a lot from them. Even lot of TTP and BLA goons are being eliminated by their help or by their direct operations. So I would my place my bet on Afghan Taliban any time as compared to Panjshiris or others

It was peaceful due to lack of monitoring. Al-Qaeda Network reared its ugly head in the region and we were sleeping.

TTP is a creation of anti pakistan forces .. and their spokesman ehsan ullah ehsan has admitted it

@jamal18
How taliban is sincere to their country? They behead their policemen, they behead people for dancing, they fight with Afghan army , they torchure them & kill them. Today’s Taliban have also support of daesh and other banned terrorist organisations.

For them afghans who support Americans are traitors .. and they should be treated like that .. americans took over afghanistan from afghan taliban and there struggle against the invaders is right .. and i dont believe that afghan taliban has beheaded someone for dancing

Al Qaeda was inside Afghanistan not in our areas Janab. We had no issue of Al Qaeda or the Taliban until Musharraf decided to the made the blunder of entering Tribal areas. That gave birth to monster TTP and others which we are still trying to fully eliminate.

The Question I have is what the f#ck is #DoMore doing? Still walking with a finger up his arse?

It seems to me wherever #DoMore goes. Things f#ck up
Had a four star general been killed than i would agree as this would have caused unrest in USA...currently Afghanistan doesnt come up...so as long as it doesn't ...nobody cares...so its going to stay a stalemate and we are going to suffer
