Disruption of financing schemes are not the only reason for declaring a particular entity as a terrorist group.
In reality that's the only major reason countries declare certain groups terrorists. Why do you think Hizbi is terror group in UK? Not because Brits send Hizbis to India, but we provided evidence of funding from the UK.

With Quad , UK , Canada e.t.c cold war with China from Trade , Diplomacy , issuing Threats , Banning of Apps and even Skirmishes or stand off e.t.c with China , this was expected , no surprise . China should support Pakistan in this diplomatically , technology , economic wise . As game is to contain China and hurt Chinese investments and Interests . This time it will be not only India against CPEC or Pakistan but Quad , UK and few other countries as well .
There is not an iota of doubt that both China and Pakistan are in this together. These ragtag bandits cannot challange the state. They will be smoked out of their holes. The best they can do is seek refuge in European capitals and hide behind Afghanistan and India for their limited support.

My advice to the state and the armed forces is to unite unequivocally to defeat this menace from its root. Terminate them. Make them disappear. Do whatever necessary to rid this evil quickly and effectively. If they cry and shout forced disappearances do it again and again until every last of them has disappeared.

Really? Does immediately halting and criminalising any attempts to recruit members to said terrorist organisation factor into the equation? What do you think?

Funding can be acquired by multiple routes, nameless, traceless and black market usually. Certainly, terrorist designation will cripple legal methods but we know for centuries that entire industries are sustainable with non-legal financing (drugs trade).

Declaring BLA a terrorist group immediately revokes a government's or news source's ability to legally declare the entity a legitimate resistance group.

PKK - even though their objectives sometimes align with certain western governments - can never be declared a non-terrorist group by western governments and press and charges can be brought to bear if recruits travel abroad intending to join PKK.

If India declared BLA a terrorist group, similar disruption of BLA networks in India would occur. Those harbouring, treating medically, or directing BLA operatives would suddenly be culpable under the rule of law.

No surprises here, the world is yet to see any people being helped by Chinese.

Usa and some europe has still a lot of goodwill by their genuine help to the needy.

China just isn't that type of society that believes in helping, they still beleive theirs is the middle kingdom.

How do you even get to that point after being helped by the non middle kingdoms and then go on to become oppresive.

To say what it is, chinese have written their own downfall, nobody else is to be blamed for it.

As I said, there are no BLA members or Balochis in India simply because they will have extra scrutiny since they are Pakistanis. It's like saying why Canada didn't declare BLA as terrorists, or China for that matter. We declaring them terrorists is inconsequential.
Besides, why haven't you declared ULFA or Maoists as terrorists in Pakistan? They are much older than TTP. Simply because it's irrelevant.

What you refer to as "irrelevant", some would refer to as "problematic" at the very least. From The Hindu:

"Aslam Baloch, a key military commander of the organisation, had travelled to India in 2018 and underwent treatment for kidney ailments. He spoke to the media during his stay at Delhi's Lajpat Nagar with an assumed identity of ‘Qazi’.

What made his presence in India problematic was that the BLA is considered a terror outfit in Pakistan" .

If it's problematic to harbour a Pakistan-declared terrorist, logically, it is also problematic to harbour or support or facilitate a USA/UK declared terrorist. I'm surprised that you think it's irrelevant.

The below statement from the BLA is 4 years old but relevant to a discussion wherein Indian citizens feel it not necessary to declare this individual a terrorist, even though proper mature and functional secular democracies like UK and USA have done so.

Pakistan: BLF chief Baloch says Indian help 'welcome'
Allah Nazar Baloch warns of more attacks on Chinese economic project in Pakistan in first video interview in five years.

Baloch is the only leader of a large group waging a war from inside Balochistan [Reuters]
Islamabad, Pakistan - The elusive leader of a major armed group fighting for independence in Pakistan's Balochistan has said he would welcome cash and other help from India.

In his first video interview in five years, Allah Nazar Baloch, head of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), also pledged further attacks on a Chinese economic corridor, parts of which run through the resource-rich province.

The planned $46bn trade route is expected to link western China with Pakistan's Arabian Sea via a network of roads, railways and energy pipelines.

"We not only wish India should support the Baloch national struggle diplomatically and financially, but the whole world," said Baloch, a doctor turned rebel fighter believed to be about 50, in filmed responses to questions sent by Reuters news agency."

So, Afghans come to India for medical treatment all the time. Maybe India agencies even knew who he was, but again, they are inconsequential to India, BLA and TTP are your headaches as much as Maoists or ULFA are ours.
Their funding and support come from Europe and US through different groups.

Yeah? Maybe when Pak sponsorship in Kashmir goes out of control, right now it's well within our control and there is no incentive for supporting them apart from a bad rep.

Why? India has no funding scheme that runs through our banks. Unlike US and UK where Balochis take refuge.
So leaving reality aside for a moment, India would fund such activities through conventional banking and you don't think Pakistan would catch a blink of this?

I'm not suggesting you support them. I'm suggesting you distance yourselves from such claims by declaring them terrorists and unambiguously stating that India doesn't support, harbour, facilitate or entertain any interests towards these people who seem to openly latch onto your country in particular as a specific named partner. UK and USA have declared BLA as terrorists. Why haven't India, when BLA members themselves openly declare India to be a preferred partner in establishing its objectives? Simply declaring them as terrorists would send the message to them unequivocally.

Yet, if a pdf keyboard veteran thinks it's irrelevant or unnecessary, what chance is there that Delhi's politicians will do so?
