On a serious note, had india played wisely in this project since start, they might have given tough time to gripen and Mirage market today.

Problem with this project is lack of dedication and bootlicking of others with the obsession of Pakistan .

India could have had a handsome fleet of tejas, all upgradable, BUT, they have the habit of looking down on others until they themselves fall in the gravest pit.

Look where we are with our Thunder project, at first, such a thing seemed impossible for Pakistan.

Even if we had assistance and partnership of China (who themselves at that time were just amateurs), we developed a product, very lethal and potent, proven in A2G and A2A with the best weaponry China, Pakistan has to offer and the product is now flying in a fleet of 120 within Pakistan and 20+ international customers with high potential of getting big ticket orders from some countries very soon.

Girish Deodhare, chief of the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) of DRDO, has confirmed that ADA and HAL were asked by IAF to develop Tejas Mark 1A with capabilities and technology which will make it superior to the entire fleet of Pakistan Air force (PAF) including F-16 Block-52 and JF-17 Block-III with five new additional capabilities.

So the claim has been made by the manufacturers of Tejas, which is understandable as they have to promote and somehow try to put some life into their dead Horse.....but what about the IAF pilots, what about their opinion.....i mean how good is it at dodging missiles.
After all that's the new capability in what was once called Raptor of the East.

Get over what?
Why evade my question?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Why insult Dogs? They are known for their loyalty where as modi is trying to divide india:lol:
Ah, I thought it was a rhetorical question since you would know the answer. However, since you seem to have innocently asked it - No, the Tejas hasn't been in a dog fight.

"Get over what?" - Get over your various losses.

Fly By Optic, yes, Block 2 and 3 are more modern than any teja.

OTOH, MK1A uses Single wide MFD (is it true btw ?)
I highly doubt Blk2 has fly by optic. Even Blk3 is speculation. Also, in my opinion, Tejas will naturally (has to) have a better fly by wire/fly by optic system as a whole, due to the greater unstability and the fine tuning on Naval-LCA. So I'm only talking about having optical fibre instead of copper wire, which itself is a great step of course. It'll be such a marketing factor for Blk3 if true.

Single MFD was seen on LCA SPORT variant, but I don't think it'll make it to Mk1A. Not worth the change at the moment. Pushing it to Mk2 would be the right call.

Next time, Kindly do a background research before making claims. FBO is operational in B and we saw it displayed in dubai air show PAC stall last month.

Teja has will have FBW not FBO
