The Taliban have promised plots of land to the family members of suicide bombers who targeted US and Afghan forces, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry tweeted Tuesday.

The tweet, posted in English, echoed an announcement made the previous day by acting interior minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, who offered clothes and roughly $112 to dozens of male family members of “martyred” bombers who died for Islamic “jihad and sacrifices.”

The spokesman, Saeed Khosty, also said Haqqani considered the dead bombers “heroes of Islam and the country.”

“Now you and I must refrain from betraying the aspirations of our martyrs,” Haqqani reportedly said.

The acting interior minister’s comments suggest extreme aggression could see a resurgence in the now Taliban-ruled country — a move at odds with previous assurances following the fall of Kabul in August.

The US and its Western allies have warned the Taliban that they will not recognize its government as a legitimate legislative body should the Taliban allow terrorism and extremism to flourish.

The Taliban leaders’ meeting at a Kabul hotel Monday was the latest in a series of steps taken by the group to seemingly push Afghanistan back to a radicalization not seen since 2001.

The United Nations has predicted the entire country could soon be in a dire economic situation and will require additional humanitarian support.

The US has frozen billions of dollars in Afghan assets following the Taliban takeover in accordance with US sanction policies.

International monetary organizations have additionally paused as much as 75 percent of all fiscal disbursements the previous Afghan government relied on, the Associated Press reported.

The US has evacuated upward of 124,000 Americans, Afghan allies and at-risk Afghans since the fall of Kabul.

The State Department has said it will continue to evacuate individuals still stuck in Afghanistan.

Fox News could not immediately reach the State Department for comment.

Also an interesting twitter thread explaining about the leaked audio of the ceremony.

Westerners are freaking out after US aerial bombings have killed more than 22,000 CIVILIANS since 9/11. It's okay to drop a bomb that kills civilians but not be a suicide bomber against an invading force that has occupied your country?

Total civilian deaths in these wars (vast majority by Coalition violence) are between 335,000 and 1,000,000. Let that sink in.

Japanese govt still honors kamakaze pilots and have dedicated a peace museum for them. just saying.
Exactly that's what I thought. .
If those suicide bombers didn't kill innocent people in crowds and mosques and killed the foreign invaders and afghan puppet regime then how are they any different from kamikazes who defended the motherland by sacrificing their lives?

I mean, most Taliban suicide attacks did kill civilians, probably less than the NATO forces, but still did. So collateral damage perhaps?

Suicide is proof of cowardice, These mullahs are total ignorant.

US was not defeated by Taliban's suicide bombers, it was defeated due to constant supply of proxies/mullahs, weapons and money from neighboring countries,

America, China and Russia are in proxy war from Korean War, then Vietnam war, then Russian-Afghan war, then War on terror after 9/11.

If US had started full scale war, not a limited war, Taliban had been successfully defeated, In World Wars with Japan, US used chemical weapons on Japanese who were hiding in caves and tunnels. But all those weapons were banned by allies later.

US was defeated because their plea for going to war was bogus ...

It's a form of warfare. Cowardice is opening up your borders to the US and letting it bomb Afghanistan along with your own country for more than a decade.

One shouldn't favour Taliban but, these dubious sources and obvious Western propaganda houses can't be trusted. Taliban were hated by leftists on top and will always keep it peddling, therefore, a recording or not and a reward or not; they will hate them and the other side will keep up fighting.

No, Proxy War by Anti US countries..
No, the US administration can't say no their contractors ....if there is no war there is no sale of weapons ...they do a false flag attack then nominate a country ....a weak one and then they send their chocolate cream soldiers...after rolling up all the tax payers money for years, they go back home and say, ' No, Proxy War by Anti US countries'..
