Taliban enjoying some swings and coming down a slide in different districts.

Western Propagandist media fails to show positive images of the Taliban, they are not the barbarians they perceive.
Wow adult men going down in slides who would stone people to death in a heartbeat. We can see where the propaganda is. :coffee:

The Taliban are not barbarians, at least among the Pashtuns in Afghanistan. A corrupt army cannot fight guerrilla warfare.
The Chinese army has fought guerrilla warfare and respects all the armed forces that can fight guerrilla warfare.
It is hoped that peace will be ushered in in Afghanistan and China respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries.

destruction of six US Harrier strike aircraft
their brothers in arm, the TTP did quite well with the PNS Mehran attack too, didn't they ?

they're a bunch of cavemen terrorist savages, the lot of them.

AT ruled Afghanistan is going to be a nightmare for Pakistan, I fear you will see a resurgent TTP (didn't they claim responsibility for the KPK attack on the Chinese engineers ?) Other similar groups will also thrive in that atmosphere, common folk will suffer, women more than most.

Americans leaving and the ending of a long war is always good but what will emerge from that burning heap now ? cant foresee anything good with the AT, wth are you Pakistanis so happy about here ?

They should have been bombed by US or by AAF and make them relaxed fore ever,
Someone with a name ' peace be there's you are very much into killing those who have evicted occupiers from their country.
Better to die a free man than to live on your knees. But not many people know that

Keep believing what you're believing, bud. I am sure that sort of thinking has worked out pretty well for you indians. 20 years down the line and you are still stuck in a rut, bravo!!

It is mindboggling. How these Taliban have absolutely routed the meanest military machinery in the history of humanity. No wonder the US/NATO generals and its proponents never wanted to leave without victory LOL This will go in the history books folks. It is mind-bending. The impossible made possible.
Because of their relentless stubbornness and lack of love for US visa. They are the true Patriots unlike the kabul regime who fight for material benefit. And ofcourse help from neighbours..

So list your positives from a scenario with the AT ruling the whole place from Kabul.

These uneducated warlords can run a village or two, not a nation state. The "western puppet" regime at least have a vision. Taliban's vision is basically... ISIS. What good will come from that ?

Those b52s are in action since decades, can't make difference you have to fight on ground to hold the ground
The huge deal is their passing through Pak airspace. Wonder how the Chinese feel about that kind of US strategic asset passing through their close allies' air. It also indicates there are most likely US boots on ground. The CIA will never truly leave-leave Afghanistan, not for a very long while anyway. Kabul is unlikely to fall anytime soon, and should it fall, nothing good will come from it.. it'll be a bloody battle to the end.. and the beginning of another dark era for Afghanistan. Refugees and all the problems they bring, instability.. fallout in Pakistan.

What good will come from it ?

That's one side of coin, the other side is a complete generation of people have grown under smell of gunpowder and blood, almost all Afghans barring few thousand have lost their childhood due to crazy crusade being waged by West.
The swing video is very sad,a grownup man who faced world most powerful military machine can be heard saying "I fear i would fall".

The American empire spent 20 years and over a trillion dollars trying to beat the Taliban.

They failed.

Imagine the financial and mental shock this sends to the US. It wil be paying for this war for years to come. I believe that it will go down as a major contributor to the death of the American empire.

And the world will be all the better for it.
They beat the Taliban very swiftly. It is building the country that they failed.

It's most tough region of world, people their hate central authority. If not for US attack Afghans themself would have routed Talibans in few years, people don't like their own kinsmen telling them what to do,forget foreigners.

If you guys understand international games, just for a moment bear with me.
My take:- India's support for Ashraf ghani regime is well known. Now it is in danger, so is our influence in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan isn't just a barren land, most powers saw it as a pivot.
As i have posted here on pdf before, Indian involvement is inevitable to save a regime favourable to india on the other side of Pakistan. Its quite obvious.
Back channel talks with talibans probably failed ( not a surprise at all) since Talibans are hardliner Muslim religious supporters and India is exactly opposite.
Special ops commander for US has visited india recently, again it's in plain sight that there is a desperate attempt ( all special ops are a desperate attempt). He probably is here to bolster / advice/ facilitate and cordinate some ops with indian forces to save the present regime.
Taking kabul is not a childs play even now, Afghanistan has only India as a friendly country now.
China just pre-empted indian action by publicly meeting talibans. It only means to show that if ashraf ghani gets indian support, talibans will get Chinese support.
Believe it or not world is already at war undercover!
